I'll admit it. We had lice come through. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Boys were easy, shaved their heads, and gone. 3 long-haired girls left. Trimmed to shoulder length and fought for weeks with it. ONE application of this, and they are DEAD! You might hate the smell after a while, but it's SO worth it. It starts out smelling pleasant, but after an extended period, there's a faint sulfur smell that lingers. Apply a thick coating of oil to the entire scalp early in the morning and leave in all day. When it comes time to wash it out, make sure you have a decent shampoo. Most shampoos are made to strip natural oils from hair, and this is what you want, not one that is gentle. It took me lathering extensively and rinsing twice to remove it all. You will most likely need to wash your child's hair for them as well, even if they usually do it on their own. This is some greasy stuff. Before shampooing, you have the choice of using a lice comb, but it's not absolutely necessary as the dead lice will wash out. If you are not planning on reapplying in one week, make sure to remove the nits at some point. I do not yet know if it kills nits or not. I'm assuming so, but it's not yet been a week since our first treatment. I'm here to tell you this DOES work and is so much more cost-effective. I did 2 heads with 1 jar. Don't listen to internet nay-sayers. This DOES work!

the smell is super strong no matter how little you use! which is awfu! but I was willing to try for an issue I was having. If you already have sensitive skin, proceed with caution! it set my scalp on fire! the burning and itching was unbearable. And I broke out in a rash. I didn't get any relief until I washed as much as I could out, which is not easy to do. I would give zero stars if I could. plus customer service wasn't much help either.
