Sulfur8 Clarifying Shampoo 7oz. Softening, All Hair Type

My son has psoriasis which causes itching and flaking on his scalp. We've tried dermatologist ordered topical prescriptions, therapeutic shampoos and silver solutions without success. He tried this and it's working! Flaking is decreased remarkably, itching is improved and he can wear dark shirts again. Thank you Suffur8.

Awesome product when used correctly and for the stated purposes. Helps with my flaky scalp. Been using for 7 years now, and it helps more than any prescription I have ever had. Keeps my dandruff/dry scalp looking and feeling normal. Also the version has a softer scent. Less noticeable smell.

I shampoo my kids with this when we spend the day outside and so far, knock wood, no ticks.

It lathers good and helps termendously with itching!

I have one of those itchy scalp conditions from time to time that can be very annoying and this takes care of the problem.

Very surprised about the advances in this old time product. I haven't used this in decades and I was very pleased. It did not have the old smell and harshness. It gave a great rinse and my hair was soft and relaxed and NOT dried out. Other winter dry scalp shampoo I used did dry out my hair. This was pleasantly surprising good.

I bought it for a friend who cannot get to store often. She told me she wanted to try it. She said to not reorder it this time. i don't really know why.

It's okay I really like the other one in the white bottle better because it leaves your scalp feeling minty

This is just a basic clarifying shampoo with the sulfur 8 name so you think it's going to do something, when it does absolutely nothing. Note that there is 0 sulfur in this product! It stinks like a product with sulfur and scalp nurturing goodness, but it has none of those. It's really just a basic, super drying shampoo. I bought it when I was having scalp issues and wanted a shampoo that would help. Boy was I wrong with this one! My scalp felt pretty much unchanged after using it. Plus, there's the bonus of my hair stink that seemed to come through even after 2 rounds of conditioner. And, while it's not expensive, the bottle is only 8 oz. So, it comes out to roughly $1/oz to do basically nothing. If you're after a stripping shampoo, you can find options with a way better price point, better smell, and comparable/better effects. If you're after something for scalp issues specifically, this is not the product for you. All in all, this is not a product I would recommend to anyone as it's a product that doesn't seem to do anything well. Shop around and you can definitely find something that better aligns with your needs.

I dont know if it's just me, but this had my hair so tangled. It changed my texture, and it locked up into a birds nest. it took FOREVER to get it untangled and to be able to comb through it. I lost a lot of hair. I am African American so idk if that had anything to do with it. Maybe it isn't for my hair type. But i added a pic to show how much hair I lost
