The players can choose 3 camp activities to play for in a game. This is a combination of cards and board game. It is fun to play. Summer Camp game from Buffalo Games is so much fun. This game is geared for ages 10 and up and it is meant for 2-4 players. My family and I love playing this together. We have played this over and over again, since anyone can win in different ways. The first impression of the game is that it is really well made. The cardboard that is used for the pieces is really thick and strong. This came with a really easy to follow instruction booklet that explained the setup and also showed great pictures on what you need to do. If you ever went to any kind of summer camp as a kid this will bring back so many fun memories. This can definitely be a strategy game since you are all competing to get the merit badges and the most points. We really like the fact that you can change the paths which give you a lot of different combinations to win the game. This game came with several different badges so you can constantly change them up so you have a new refreshing game to play. This is a must have game if your family likes to play games.

My granddaughter loves going to summer camp. Everything about the experience was her favorite. When I saw this game I thought it would be perfect for her. This game has all of her favorite camp activities and she can play with her friends year-round. If your child loves camp or you want them to get a little taste of the experience, this is a great game.

This is a super cute deck building game. The cards and tokens and pieces are really nice quality and bright colors. I love that there is space in each box for the tokens so everything is organized and contained. It does take a bit of set up at first but it's faster after you know what you're doing. Between the deck options and the board options there is HUGE replay value, which I love because I feel like my money is better spent that way. It's such a cheery game, and I like that the art is colorful and nice without being cheesy or overdone. The meeples are good quality. Definitely a fun game for the family.

It's a fun game, once you get to learn the rules it's easy to play. Just played with 2 players and it was enjoyable, plus every game is different. Never went to summer camp, so didn't know what to expect, but really found it fun and it did take a bit of time to finish though.

My kids get bored easily and then we have a house where kids are getting into things they shouldn't...so I'm always looking for activities that will keep them busy, but it usually doesn't work, UNTIL NOW...I am so happy with this game....my three kids played for over an hour with no fighting, no cries of being bored....happiness at last!!! They had so much fun that it was hard to get them to put the game away for bedtime.....if you need something to really keep your kid's attention, this game is it !! I absolutely LOVE IT...

Just received this game by Phil Walker-Harding, this game come chock full of fun activities. Comes with 7 activity packs, inside there are merit badges, base cards. There's 24 snack bar tokens, 1 starting camp patch, 12 pawns, 4 player boards, one lake game board and 9 path boards plus a colorful instruction book. And you can go online to watch a video to learn how to play. We had so much fun playing it. This also makes a great gift idea for any occasion.

All the component pieces for this game are good quality ~ The instructions for the game are on the back of the box, so you know what you are getting without opening the box. The game does not take too long to play and would certainly keep the players engaged as you want to see what your opponent is doing during their turn at the game. Highly recommend.

This is a really cool game, especially if you love camping like we do, but there are a lot of pieces to get set up, but what really helps is to google for a video of it being explained and set up, especially for people like me who are not a fan of written directions, and this way, you'll be ready to play pretty quickly.

The strategy is to build the best card combination too outplay your opponents, and be the ultimate camper. There are a bunch of different strategies and the one that seems to work best is the luck of the draw. Since this is a deck building game, it is the luck of the shuffle that will make or break your turn. This is a great medium paced game at about 40 minutes of playing time. I like the feel of the cards and pieces. At the start of a new game, you choose 3 new categories, so you can have a different summer camp experience each time you play. There are three different race tracks so players can choose to focus on one track, or moving their game piece equally between the three. There are also two mini races to the first and second bridges on any of the paths. This adds extra excitement. Turns are fairly quick and some turns are so card combo crazy that a player can feel like they have done something clever. Summer Camp is a competitive deck building game where players race to earn merit badges and collect the most experience points to win. Each player has their own deck of cards to play, and as the game progresses you will add new cards to your deck to make it even stronger. It took a few minutes to set up and it didn't take to long to get the hang of the game. It would be a nice add to anyone's board game collection.
