Whatever your religion or beliefs, if you want to have even a glimmering idea of what is meant by the Holy Trinity, this is a must-see film. I think the book was better, but the film does an excellent job of portraying what many consider a complex and inexplicable concept.

Beautiful story of forgiveness MUST SEE
Some people are offended by the depiction of God and the trinity in this film. If you're easily offended, then this movie is not for you. The fact is that it's not a documentary, or a Bible class, it's a fictional story. And a good one. The people are easy to relate to, and it accurately portrays God as kind, loving, and always there for us. He seeks a relationship with us. With you. Go ahead and watch it...and have some tissues nearby!!!

Great movie - LOUSY disc
The movie was great, however the sound on the Bluray disc was terrible. It ranged on my Sony BDP-8500 Bluray player from a level of 20 all the way up to a hundred. Even topped out at a hundred the sound was like the actors were whispering their lines. It totally ruined a fine film. Will be returning it to Walmart ASAP.
