it did a really good job on my wood deck.... I am not impressed with the scrubber attachment, (it probably isnt worth the money) but the 2300 psi was worth the extra money. It is very heavy for a 73 year old woman . I almost wish it had 4 wheels instead of 2. But I figured it out and put it together by myself so I am giving it a 5 star rating. The higher psi you can afford the better and I didnt want to go for a gas powered unit because that is just too complicated for someone on their own. I will have to get someone to store it away for the winter and then get it out in the spring but other than that it is really effective....... I wonder if the wash is even worth using since it is so effective
Yes, outstanding! I bought this pressure washer to clean my porch, driveway, deck, house, and cars. The power is more than enough to remove decades-old grim from the concrete. I also like the convenient cleaner solution dispenser and easy to change nozzles. This is the third pressure washer I've ever owned and by far the best design.
This pressure washer has the sound of power and the every component has the look and feel of quality. There is well-designed storage for the power cord and the high pressure hose. With most of the weight at the bottom of the unit, tip-over is very unlikely. There is a foot pedal at the bottom of the unit to help tip it when you are ready to move it. The included five tips for the wand are all you might ever need for any job you have in mind. Since there is a place to store the high pressure hose, I don't feel that the SPX3501 with a reel at the top for this hose is necessary and might make the machine a little top-heavy. I have every confidence in the quality and the likelihood of a long life for this product, especially since it comes with a brushless motor, but I purchased the additional 3-year warranty anyway. It comes at a very good price and this gives me peace of mind for a full five years. Some cheaper and less well-made washers will not come close to lasting this long before some type of catastrophic failure. This is the electric pressure washer to get!
I power washed my driveway with the SPX3500 and it ripped off the black grime that had accumulated over many years. My driveway looks nice and clean now. I thought that the power cord might be a little obtrusive, but actually the position of the hose connector got in the way of rolling the unit more than the power cord. For the driveway, I didn't need to roll the washer around very much, so that wasn't really a problem. At any rate, I prefer an electric unit over a gas powered one if it does the job, and the pressure of SPX3500 worked just fine for cleaning the driveway. If it can do that, it's probably good for most tasks. I like the fact that the motor stops when you release the trigger.
Always a chore to start my gas washer. Plug this guy in and you are off to the races. Not the equal to my gas washer but to clean my deck prior to staining it performed well. Nice cord storage but really no place to store the washer hose. Suggestion for next iteration.
For an electric pressure washer, this one gets the job done. So nice that you don’t have the noise that a gas one produces. That was the main reason I bought this product. All of my yard tools are battery or corded. Thanks SunJoe!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Since I have well water and not great pressure I wanted a pressure washer that would do a great job but not cost a small fortune. I bought this one and am so happy with it! It’s easy to use, has decent pressure, has many attachments, and doesn’t leak at any of the connections! I have a two story house and can’t get much of the upper level done, but most of my problem is the lower level anyway where it becomes green. I did buy the additional 25’ hose which is great, plus other attachments which are also terrific. I actually enjoy using it so, needlessly to say, this is a fantastic purchase!
I've used the washer 3 or 4 times and it has plenty of pressure and the variety of nozzles and the ease of switching them is nice. But, it does leak every time I use it and that causes the unit to cycle on and off maintaining pressure, which is annoying. I tried using white wrap tape but even a small drip will cause it to cycle back on.
This is my second pressure washer. First one the soap dispenser quite working and they promptly sent me another new pressure washer. I am happy with the SPX3500, has great power and is easy to use. Would be good to supply a longer hose, the one provided means you have to shuttle the washer around. I bought an extension and now I just wash the vehicles without having to move the unit.
Though not as powerful as my gas pressure washer, the ease of use is better and the power it offers is close. No gas is the first benefit. The second is it starts easily and is easy to set up and get started. The electric wire is relatively long, but in some cases I need an extension cord which should be fine. The various nozzles are very good. The length of the hose could be longer, but if necessary I could order the longer one from Sun Joe. So far I used the washer to remove an entire paint job I did on a 5 stair 6 foot wide concrete step-up and platform to my front door. The epoxy paint was faulty so it stayed sticky and I had to remove it. The washer did the job.
