Suncast 225 ft. Smart Trak Wicker Garden Hose Reel Guide and Hideaway, Java Brown

Product worked as advertised, although plastic fittings seem weak. Time will tell whether there will be much leaking at fittings. Also, there were no setup instructions with unit. Not that this was hard to figure out how to install because most everything was already installed, but I feel you should still pack instructions with the unit! The centering device needs to be positioned over to the hose ****-up before winding hose and some people might not have realized that before setting up unit.

I've had this exact same suncast 225' hose reel with guide at my home for the last 8 years. It finally gave up so I ordered a new one just like it. It gets full sun and has held up well. The inter roller broke is the only reason to change box out. I highly recommend this product. I'm going to order another one for my backyard soon.

The product was cheaper than anywhere else I found online. It was delivered free to my home within a few days. The quality is outstanding, and I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Purchased this to replace a 14 year old Suncast hose reel %26 this seems very well made. So far no problems %26 hope it lasts as long as the one this replaced.

This is my 2nd suncast hose reel. The fist one lasted over 6 years, maybe longer, but the handle eventually broke off. I did work it a lot so I think I got my moneys worth. This new one is a lot lighter, so they are using less plastic. The top is a flat plastic where my old one had the same weave texture on top.. let's hope it lasts at least as long.

The Suncast reel works as designed and is a good product. However, ordering online through Walmart is a problem for Suncast when it comes to warranty registration. It took a lengthy conversation with Suncast, who insists that a receipt including SKU number be included to register the product and activate the warranty. Another lengthy conversation was had with Walmart Customer Service trying to get assistance with this request. Unlike Amazon or Lowe's, Walmart cannot provide a single logo bearing “ invoice/receipt” for a product ordered online. Suncast finally agreed to accept multiple screenshots and a photograph of the SKU number and barcode on the unit itself. So the moral of the story is save yourself some time and buy the Suncast reel elsewhere!

l liked the look but no matter what I did the connection between female connection and hose leaked. i contacted the company. They asked for copy of receipt with all information on it. i did not have so they did not help me. when i order from Walmart, there is no receipt. no paperwork at all. returning this item for lack of help.

After a month and a half, the flywheel is broken ( crashed0 I can belive my eyes. I demand a refund. This is not a good prodict, unless i got a defected item .

Broken, it didn't even last a year. The plastic part inside the cabinet where the hose connects to the inside reel split and leaks everywhere. It seems to be flimsy plastic and it just didn't hold up. It is now unusable, we haven't even had it a year. Would not buy again, would not recommend.

Hose box does a good job holding the hose and the reel system is smooth. But it absolutely kills your water pressure delivered to your house by having the smallest 90 degree hose attachment inside the box.
