This item here is what I use for different things, I use it to thin some paints, but may not be good for all paints, because it is a good thick thinner, so be careful to protect your eyes and other skin areas, but is still a very good product.....

I would say for me the only one drawback I had for it is that by painting on the stuff to get rid of the paint was a little bit hard when it come to getting pain off my glass door knobs and their back base whatever you call it but once I submerged it in the solution and let it sit for 15 minutes it was extremely easy to take off I would highly recommend this stuff The smell of the stuff was slightly strong but very tolerable

This paint and varnish remover worked great to remove some old layers of paint on a wooden table that I wanted to refurbish. It is easy to use. I poured it on the area where I wanted to remove paint and let it sit for 2 – 5 minutes. The remover stuck well on the surface and after the short waiting time the layers of paint were easy to remove. A very powerful and effective remover. The odor is not too overwhelming when you keep a fan on or a window open and I used protective gloves to protect my skin and a mask. The remover did not left any damage to the surface I was working on. Overall, extremely powerful and effective in removing paint and varnish.

It works fairly well. I do think it should have worked a little better. I had never used this brand before as well. I put it to the test for sure. I was refinishing a 70-75 yr old nightstand. I couldn't even guess how many layers of paint and nicotine that were on it. And somewhere someone decided to apply contact paper. We found 2 layers of it. So it did take me more then a can to tackle the stripping.

The lawyer paint that had been painted on decades ago really protected the wood and was difficult to remove. The remover worked well compared to other products I've used over 30 years. The odor wasn't as offensive as many, it visibly wrinkles the paint and you can see when the opportune time has arrived to begin carefully removing the paint. It did not create undo mess. I repurposed large cardboard boxes to cover the ground and fold them up after they dried to discard. It was straightforward. I used two cans for a lingerie chest (top, front %26 left and right sides) that included 5 drawers.

Worked pretty good. Had to reapply 2 to three times. It was a very old piece of furniture. I was removing stain. Another piece was wood and veneer. It does do too well with veneer

2 minute remover neutralized about 2/3 of the surface. The second coat got some more of it. The directions said to rinse off with water. I had exposed metal next to the rust. The water caused more rust. I used more of the product to kill as much rust as possible. Then I wiped it all off with a paper towel. I followed up with mineral spirits to get the residue off with no additional rust forming.

I tried this product for the first time to strip paint from kitchen cabinet doors. Unless you blob it on the entire service, it doesn't do much. If you let it dry, the paint readheres to the wood and it's like you never put anything on it. It's very easy to use, and yes use in a ventilated area. I used almost an entire container on 6 cabinet door fronts, and it still didn't remove the paint. I found hot white vinegar poured onto clothes I laid on the surface and left overnight works way better.

I refinish furniture professionally and wanted to try this product to cut down cost. This stuff dried up so quick. Even with Saran Wrap on top to lock it in. It took MULTIPLE coats and scraping. I finally gave up washed it down with mineral spirits and sanded. Do yourself a favor and just use the Klean strip premium stripper. For the few dollars more it saves you SUCH a headache!

I have a door I have been trying to scrape the old paint off of. It's got layers and layers of all kinds of paint because it's more than 100 years old. I took it outside on my porch and decided to try this stuff. I've removed paint and varnish from furniture before and it would bubble up and come off easily. I put this paint remover all over the door (it's supposed to cover 25 square feet). First I tried to scrape some off after 2 minutes and nothing would come off. I decided to set my timer for 10 minutes and wait. Still nothing. Now I have this junk all over my door and I will have to wash it off somehow. I also still have the other half of the remover in the can which I have no clue how to dispose of. It's not safe to put in the trash, but no good to use, so what do I do with it? This has been a terrible waste of time.
