Black Bear Gold
I absolutely love Sunshine Black Bear potting soil! This year, I used it for my seed starting mix and plan to use it for my containers and grow bags as well. I'm also grateful for how well it works for indoor plants. You just need to look up the best amendments for what you are growing, and you'll have some excellent soil ready to go!

Soilless Mix
The Black Bear potting mix is light and airy, making it easy to carry from the store and perfect for keeping plant roots aerated. The bag is large enough for a couple of plants and is safe for use with growing vegetables. This is so much more than just a soil because it includes wood biochar and peat moss. This is sure to get my potted plants looking their best this year.

Quality product
I like that the product is climate conscious and made of 100% natural forest products. It smells earthy and looks like a nice dark potting soil. I like that can be used for multiple purposes- baskets, beds, fruits, vegetables, indoor and outdoor. It seems to be of good quality - finely "ground" no large pieces of wood in it and no insects. I wish it was a larger bag.

Good Quality
Sunshine Black Bear is a high quality potting mix for plants, which is eco friendly and helping the planet sustainability. it doesn't have bad smell and I like the wood smell which I am very much impressed. This fits my needs as this can be used for both indoor and outdoor plants and I highly recommends it even though a bit pricey.

Nothing but peat moss
This so called potting mix was 98% peat moss and 2% pieces of bark. I could have bought peat moss cheaper. I would not recommend.
