This stuff is "Great".... no kidding... Ok - it works slow, but when it kicks in --- it is the best grass i'v ever grown... and i know my stuff guys.... !!! its so cool in the area i am growing it, that i'm not going to even cut it ... i'm just going to walk barefoot thru it and smile at my find.... I haven't used it yet but I'm going to use it right away because the product says is rapid growing and I'm excited to see the benefits I have to prep my grass alliwbitbtobgermenate. Then I'll buy it again and give another review but the price was the selling factor for me and that it was rapid growing.

I bought the Expert Gardener Kwik Grass Seed Mix, %26 I am really happy with it. The seeds sprouted quickly, %26 my patchy lawn areas are already growing in nicely. The coverage is good, %26 the grass looks healthy %26 green. Great product if you want fast results for bare spots or thin areas in your yard.

I have a hill that is so hard to get grass to grow on. I've tried 5-6 different types of grass over the past year. I got this and literally tossed it out by hand after a rain. No taking. No covering. Nothing and a week later I have baby grass! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I actually just seeded today, I raked the area I was going seed, I just threw it by hand then I slightly raked it after- then I did toss some top soil over the whole area. I've got to say I did not know that you can seed with this and wait till it sprouts, then I can seed my clover. The grass will help keep the clover seeds in place and magically the grass will die after a year and the clover I wanted will be left growing. I'm glad I bought a second bag, now I need more for the side of my yard. Can't wait to see green!

It really is some beautiful, lush, green grass. Germination was between 5-10 days and I used this seed mix to fill in bare spots in my yard, and now I'm wishing I had put more down in other spots. Germination was better where I covered it with a thin layer of straw, but now I know for next time. Initially had some netting over the straw to keep everything in place, but I didn't really need all that. It's doing very well in the shady areas of my yard (under a tree and below some shrubs). Would order it again and I'd highly recommend to others with tricky areas in their landscape.

Looked a bit odd out of the bag as it is bright green, but that actually helped us see where we had enough and which spots needed more. Applied evening before a day of steady spring rain (in central upstate ny) and grass was sprouting within 24 hours later! Worked great when used with new topsoil to fill in around edges of new driveway. Went and bought more for bare spots on lawn!

Best grade I can give it right now based on all the seed brands I've purchased over the years. I haven't found one yet that has grown grass in a short amount of time.I am going to cover it with straw this time,that might be what I've been doing wrong 🤔

Since web site fails to disclose the ingredients, I have included a picture of the contents label on the actual bag. 50% of the weight is "Coating Material." This is a moisture-wicking layer to help seeds germinate, but it means only about half the bag is actual seed. As summarized below, the seed is mainly ryegrass. * Gulf Annual Ryegrass (36%): This is the "Kwik" part of the mix. It germinates incredibly fast (often in 5-7 days) and provides instant green. The Catch: It is an annual grass. It will likely die off once the summer heat hits or after the first hard frost, depending on when you plant it. * Integra Perennial Ryegrass (6%): This provides a more permanent solution than the annual variety and has a finer texture, but it only makes up a small portion of the mix. * Minuteman Festulolium (5%): This is a hybrid between ryegrass and fescue. It's bred to have the fast growth of ryegrass with the better cold/drought tolerance of fescue.
