Do you really need the synthetic version of this gear oil? No. There is less thermal breakdown with gear oil than with motor oil, and the price difference is huge. For my rototiller this works great and the low cost allows me to change the oil in the gearbox every year.

Just excellent gear oil for my differentials. Make sure your fill plug will come out before you drain your old stuff because mine were a real bear. I run this over 80w90 as Ford recommends 75w140 for heavy duty applications. My front Dana 60diff took 3 quarts my rear sterling 10.25 took just over 3 %26 1/2

Not claiming that is the best, but save yourself some money with this. And you should not use anything but non-synthetic in your diffs anyways. I unfortunately used to. Wish they offered other weights at this price point too. Hope this helps and thank you for reading.

Gear oil has to meet the specifications listed on packaging. Most people buy based on branding and do not realize they are paying extra for advertising

Used this in my Jeep differential and it worked fine. Little heaver than the book said to use but then the slight whinging noise went away and I can't see any change in gas mileage so I am not about to change it.

Another incomplete order. Failure to maintain adequate inventory. Always problematic when you need something Walmart fails to deliver.
