I just love these nail patches! I've been using them for years. When a nail cracks too far down, so that it does not break off, I polish my nails and I cut and apply a little transparent patch. I continue to do this until the nail grows to the point where I can trim it. The patches really do help prevent the nail from breaking off, and you can't even see them when they are on the polished nail!

the bandage is a nail shaped clear overlay with an adhesive that is waterproof. my nail tore in the bed of my nail and was painful each time it caught on clothing, towels etc. I had to let it grow out to be able to trim it. I had tried nail glue but it wasnt reinforcing the tear. This product worked perfectly.

This is a WONDERFUL product! These are clear, small, oval bandages that self adhere to your own nail. I put 2 coats of clear polish on the first day, and then 1 coat each day thereafter. To be absolutely SUPER careful, I wear kitchen type rubber gloves, while doing dishes. I've ordered these nail bandages a few times, and will definitely order them many times in the future. The cost is nominal and the results are very rewarding. You will be very pleased, when you receive compliments!

The "bandages" are long, very narrow ovals. Even the largest one isn't wide enough for my nail and I'm a petite female with very small hands. Secondly, even with careful application the adhesion is so-so. In the center it is fine, but the edges aren't secure, even after careful smoothing.
