The meter is shipped dry so you should condition the bulb by soaking it in buffer solution for several hours before calibrating it. Calibrated it per instructions and it worked perfectly. After use store it in a small amount of buffer solution (you can just use the cap) to keep the bulb from drying out and losing accuracy. I used it along with test strips in different waters with known ph levels. Bottom line is if you need better accuracy get this meter. If you need a "close enough" reading then test strips work fine also. It is easy to use and accurate.

Seems to work fine, but it's very slow. I stood there for several minutes in the hot sun while the numbers gradually dropped, one decimal number at a time.

I emptied the packets of pH powder into 250ml of distilled water, in three separate containers, just like the instructions called for. I had to test and re-test…and re-test the first one. The pH reading did not match the packet. The other two did, so that may be close enough for now. The indicated pH on the first packet is 6.86. It actually reads 7.11.

This worked great for about 1 day…then I noticed the measurements were off by more than 1.3. We recalibrated, and still could not get accurate readings.

it took to much work to calibrate and it needs calibrating too often.

After calibration, it started saying Error. Returning. I cleaned it with isopropyl and hot water and tried again and now it just keeps reading error. I couldnt find seller information as they say they give you a 1-year warranty, but they did not provide any contact information.

the written english instruction is conflicting and difficult to understand. the calibration is not done properly because of this. readings are unreliable.

Cheap cheap cheap. The bulb broke from just wiping it off in my hands with paper towel. Loses accuracy within like a day and I'm not sure if it ever was accurate. When compared to test strips, it is off.

Long calibration process......tedious without any feedback from the meter telling me if I did the calibration correctly. Meter does not read PH accurately. Cheap tool.

the little glass ball piece, im unsure of the name. was busted and i wa trying to figure out why it kept reading wild things during calibration i didnt realize it was broken until i tried testing it with vinegar and got 8.87ph on 2-3ph vinegar. packing and everything was promising until this
