Worked great , I will say it melted/got hot fast in my old ancient black and decker hot glue gun, depending on how hot your gun get this could be annoying to you, but I didn't mind still worked great I was just more conscience to hold cool before moving to next thing. Holding strength seems on par with other brands I have used over the decades. And because every brand has "millimeter" different measurement I am always concerned this would be the time I get something that doesn't work in my old hot glue gun but the size was perfect. Color was clear and bond seemed strong.
We have times when we go through a lot of hot glue sticks. We do not pay attention to where we buy them. Our glue gun is an older professional model and the only time we have any issues with any glue stick is when the material is not the best. Some cardboard boxes do not stick to the glue well. We also use them when building decorative wreaths at holiday times. One of us was a professional designer, and it always seems to be the material's fault when the glue doesn't stick. I mention this since I always like it when I see a professional opinion. I do not see a difference between Walmart's glue sticks and ones that were bought through designer suppliers.
The GLUE for YOU!!!! Do you need to glue? this is some GOOD GLUE. STURDY and strong! good for high temp glue guns! but be careful it will BURN your SKIN and it will HURT!!! This does not alter my review though. GOOD GLUE despite the blisters i have acquired from BURNING MYSELF on my god forsaken hot glue gun. HOTTT! Surebonder glue sticks is my go to sticks of glue! woohooooo!
I do a lot of DIY crafts at home and I researched and Googled what brands of glue gun glue sticks were the best and Surebonder was a brand in the top 3. They work great and are easy to use. Ive had no problems with my crafts falling apart. So far, I have no complaints and am totally satisfied with using these glue sticks for my crafts which include, wood, glass, plastic, metal, silk flowers, rocks, beads, sea shells, and the list goes on and on. Highly recommend these glue sticks for your crafting needs. I will be sticking with Surebonder from now on. Oh and the price for 50-4 inch sticks was a great deal.

These 4" long x 7/16" diameter hot melt glue sticks are 1/16" smaller in diameter than my 1/2" diameter Craftsman gun uses but worked without issue.
Bonds well on crafts. Just remember it's low heat and be careful it's still hot!

if you need to glue cardboard %26 paper products together, this is the glue stick you'll want, as that's all this type of glue is good for. There are other grades of stronger formulas that the company does offer, so READ THE SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE YOU BUY IT. The glue is fairly fast at setting up, about 8 seconds %26 after the glue cools off, the project is good to go. The glue will also adhere pourous un finished wooden items together but any wood that has a finish coating of stain or paint, you'll be wasting product %26 your time %26 money ! The glue stick is EZ to use, just be careful of NOT getting it on your skin while it's hot !
I didn't read the size of the glue sticks. So now I've been searching for a glue gun to fit these glue sticks for a little while. That isn't over $30 .It's for a teen and her occasional craft projects.
