Susan Bates® Steel Crochet Hook Set

I only use Susan Bates brand hooks when i'm doing micro crochet or using yarn that's very splitty since Susan Bates hooks have a shaft and shape of the head that move smoothly through stitches and are perfect for stopping yarn from splitting. They are light weight but very very strong and the only reason I have to replace them periodically is because when i'm visiting friends or relatives and they see how perfectly the hooks work they always want to keep them, but that's okay because they are very affordable so i can be generous and share!!

I do wish they had handles for autheitis hands. But nice set of different sizes

A bit skinny. Hard to hold and crochet

Smaller than what they appear to be, ok for very thin yarn.

These are very tiny

wrong needles fo yarn.

I din't need all of the hooks and I would have liked to be able to go into the store and get just what i needed to finish a project. The hooks themselves seemed to be of good quality.

These are not In-Line hooks like the Susan Bates Steelite hooks I inherited from a relative and have had for years. Was looking to complete my set as I have become more interested in working with fine yarn and thread, but these are just like the other brand that I see sold. Will be looking for vintage hooks online. These do not measure up to the old hooks or to the other Susan Bates larger hooks.
