Many Need This & Don't Know It
I recently learned that 10% of people can't convert folic acid, and another 40% convert it poorly. Since it is so important to our health and I don't eat enough dark greens, I am going to make sure I get enough folate by taking this natural form. Glad Swanson has these somewhat hard to find supplements.

Because I will have to take the methyl form of folic acid for the rest of my life, I need both quality and good value. This item is not available from very many sources and I have tried most of them. Swanson meets my requirements better than any other source I have tried.

Great folic acid substitute!
Many people cannot metabolize folic acid to 5-Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid (methylfolate) very well and I am one of those people. I would not be without this supplement, it is so important to so many bodily functions. I take many supplements daily, but if I could only take one, this would be it!

Good purchase
Functional deficiencies of folate are common, and this is a more bioavailable form than usual and a relatively high dose. You don't really have to worry about overdosing on this (within reason) so it makes sense to me to use this daily. Multivitamins generally will contain regular old folate and not 5-MTHF.

Not crazy about this product. Has a distinctive flavor and odor t it (not pleasant!) You were out of stock of my normal product and used this as a substitute. Definitely not the same!
Not crazy about this product. I usually purchase Solgar Folate, but it was out of stock. I purchased this as a substitute, wish I hadn't.
