Swanson Gaba - Maximum Strength 750 mg 60 Veggie Capsules

I originally bought this to help with my mood, and that it did. But an added benefit was something I didn't expect! I started sleeping more peaceful than I ever have! I would go into such a deep sleep that I was having dreams again! I am thankful for the quality rest I am getting with these pills!

I have always liked GABA. Totally natural and safe, and I find that it works wonderfully well. When highly stressed, one 500 mg. or one of this 750 mg. capsule, along with about 2,000 mg. of Pantothenic Acid really helps take the edge off and handle the stress with no drowsiness or dullness. No side effects at all. For sound sleep, allowing both the body and mind to regenerate and recharge fully as they should, I find that 3 of these 750 mg. GABA capsules taken at bedtime gives me exactly what I need. . . . And I bounce right up, raring to go first thing in the morning, never any foggy feeling. I like and recommend GABA for both stress and sleep.

GABA helps me to wind down and to help me fall asleep. It is natural occurring Amino acid and is not habit forming or a drug. I try to stay as natural as possible with my supplements because every drug has side effects. My body works well with the natural affect of the GABA.

Although this purports to be maximum strength at 750 mg, I don't feel it that way in my body. It feels like it's much less powerful than all my other 500 mg GABA items, so I'm not sure what to think. I take it on days I already feel generally okay, in case my body just wants the added help, but I don't use it if I need extra support. I do appreciate that it has a veggie capsule instead of gelatin so I can use it, and most of Swanson's capsules don't offer this, but I won't repurchase it and can't recommend it when there are so many other better choices.

I have been taking the 500mg tabs from Swanson for a few months now and love the results. Some nights I felt like I could increase my dose a bit so I decided to try this strength. This strength does absolutely nothing for me. I tried taking two last night and only slept until 2 am. How can it be that the lower dose works twice as good at this "Maximum Strength" dose? I guess it's cheaper for a reason, it's just not as good.
