This L-Citrulline makes a difference and is reasonably priced. I recommend it.

Better than its own reviews. This stuff really works and I am 71 !
It works for me just like I expected it would.
I've only been taking Swanson's L-Citrulline for about a month, but have been able to feel some benefit. I'm 80 years old, and am trying to look after the health of my arteries and blood vessels. I plan to take it for another 3 months and will then decide whether to continue.
Not sure what the one reviewer smelled, but the bottles that I have received are fresh and have no smell at all to the product. This is a great price for 850 mg. Most other L-citrulline is in a 750 or 500 mg dosage. I take 1 of these two times a day on an empty stomach along with Swanson's Real AKG also 1 two times a day.Another thing I like about the Swanson branded supplements is that the bottles are the correct size for the number of tablets inside. No half filled bottles!
To address the other review here, I'd like to point out that pure amino acids often have every distinctive and pronounced smells and tastes. (Try pure L-Arginine if you don't believe me...) Here, I'd compare L-Citrulline to rice bran, which is cardboard-ish.The other reviewer is possibly confusing this with Citrulline MALATE, which is a salt and thus not likely to have much smell or taste in comparison to the unbound amino acid. Both forms are very common.

This is the perfect Pharmaceutical grade. I have this item in my cart as it's needed to combine with L-Arginine for optimum heart health. I generally love and trust Swanson and Swanson Brands. However; this time I have a complaint . . .it's all the rice, rice bran, rice extract as added ingredients. With the recent info about all rice (even some organics) containing arsenic why would you choose to add rice to any product. especially one for daily consumption. I don't care about how small the amount is, arsenic is cumulative.\nMaybe this is what the other reviewer was smelling. I may keep looking.
