Swanson Probiotic for Digestive Health Vegetable Capsules, 20 Billion Cfu, 60 Count

This probiotic works better for me than any of the doctor recommended options. I trust Swanson Vitamins because they've been around for over 50 years and use 3rd party testing on their products sold. That being said, I was out of this probiotic for a month before I noticed my stomach pain was back with a vengeance. I take prescription pain medications for chronic pain which makes my stomach more sensitive to certain foods. I ordered it and after taking it again for several weeks, I felt normal again with no pain. Thank you, Swanson!

I have used this product before with great results. My doctor and pharmacist both agreed it was appropriate treatment.

For a long time I had been wanting to switch from my trusted single strain to a multi-strain probiotic, but never got around to selecting one and it just so happened that Swanson included this as a sample in with my order. Made the switch in December and just ordered I believe my 4th bottle. Very happy with it. My last probiotic was a single strain did make me more comfortable, but hoping to get even more benefits by using a 16 strain.

Very pleased with this product. They really do the job . Have tried other more expensive types form other companies but had to cut back due to budget, so I tried this and was very surprised at the level of effectiveness at a very affordable price as well. This is now my go to brand for Probiotics.

I have done research on different strains of good bacteria and this one has B.infantis...a top one as well as 4 other extra good strains of bacteria. On top of that it has a good amount of them. Most probiotics keep active longer if refrigerated. This is pricey for the quanity but I consider there is never a time when you don't need have a strong immune system and probiotics help to keep your immune system stronger. This has a good variety and level of good bacteria plus FOS. I will probably wait until a good sale to order it again but will buy again.

Have you seen the TV ad where the person runs to the bathroom in the middle of a meal? That used to be me. But then, Swanson sent me a free sample of this Probiotic and it was like a gift from above. I take one a day and what a difference in the quality of my life. I "solidly" recommend it.

Taking one Tablet actually made my stomach get upset and didn't work properly for me so I had to take it twice a day even though it says once. I was really hopeful for this probiotic because it was a good price but I don't think I would purchase this again. I am disappointed because I thought I found a good probiotic for a reasonable price.!

I was asked by Swanson to write a review on this product, but how would I know whether this is a good product or sawdust? I take it and assume that the microbes are viable and beneficial, but I can't say for sure that I recognize any health benefit; however I am a loyal Swanson customer, they have always treated me well, and, as far as I can tell they sell good products.

I've read and watched a lot of info on probiotics. I do see benefits and note a real difference taking Betaine HCL with pepsin, and digestive enzymes. But this probiotic supplement I've not noted any change at all, so its hard to know if maybe I need it...or not. I'm glad it was part of free promotion, as it can get expensive, and if I don't need it after all, it's a big saving not to get it.

This example was sent me but all probiotic in this form are not the same potency when you take them as they were when made. So will not ever buy this. I stead get the need through home made yogurt, kombucha, homemade kefir non pasturized forms with the live bacteria!
