This is the original Mary Jane molasses - peanut butter taffy candy that was so popular in the days of my youth. I found it serendipitously by typing Mary Jane in the Walmart search bar. Watch your teeth when consuming this product.

The candy is soft and chewy, which to me means they are fresh. No issues with delivery or packaging.

I love this candy and convenience of getting delivered to door. Great taste.

They seem to have less peanut butter flavor than they did when I was younger? But, mostly I was disappointed with the packaging. There's some kind of greasy film all over the outside of the candy. When you put your hand in the bag, you LITERALLY have to wash your hands before you can eat a piece. Then, you have to keep washing your hands every time you unwrap one because they're ALL covered in whatever that substance is. I wouldn't buy them again because of that.

I've been enjoying Mary Jane's my entire life (7 decades). I don't know what these are, but they taste nothing like Mary Jane's. I'm pretty disapointed. At least the advertised weight was very accurate.
