Sturdy Pool Pole

totallyvictorian October 1, 2014

I had this pole for several years when it broke. I bought another one but it was not like this brand. So after using the replacement only twice it broke. Back to Walmart to purchase the Swimline Pole. Value is terrific. Pool stores charge almost double the price. I will always shop at Walmart for the values.

Very good product

Southernoak July 4, 2013

I purchased this telescoping pole to go with the new weighted vacuum head I purchased here as well. The new vacuum head wouldn't fit on the original pole that came with the pool. This one does. It also gives me the extra reach I need. It's adjustable, very lite weight and made of non-rusting aluminum which is essential when you have a saltwater pool. It seems to a much better quality than the original and is easier to use. I will continue to use the original pole, but only with the hand held skimmer. Overall I'm pleased with the quality and functionality of this product and would recommend it to others.

worth the money

omrains July 21, 2014

Bought this to use with pool vac. It is very sturdy and goes past the middle of the pool. Locks work great. Worth the money. High quality product. Just what we needed. Light weight.

does what its suppose to

pimay May 17, 2013

this is a replacement pole, works as its suppose to, but wish they would devise a different lock system than the existing one, the plastic used for the "locks" is easily breakable. Don;t offer replacements so have to buy whole new pole. too bad

This is worth the extra money. We purchased a less expensive pole the first time and had to buy this one in the long run because the first one broke. Effective for a very large pool!

Glad To Own One

DCaro May 24, 2016

This product is exactly what I needed to replace the worn out poles for my pool. I will be buying more now that I see and feel how good it is. It turned out to be a better quality product for its price. Excellent price and excellent quality. I am very, very satisfied.

Great Pole

Jennifer July 1, 2015

Great pole and doesn't seem cheaply made. Really nice looking and the 15' extension is nice... 15' is a lot further than you imagine when purchasing it! :-)

Perfect!

Great product and does what it supposed to do...extend when you need it and retract when you don't

Sturdy, but can come apart

CondoGuy100 September 30, 2014

If you extend the pole too far the 5 foot sections can come out from one another at an inopportune time. Be sure you leave enough of the pole inside the next larger section and tighten the plastic fittings sufficiently. I wish the sections would have a stop built-in.

Heavy Duty?

Doubleyourfun August 20, 2019

After 35 years my old pole's twist cam finally gave out. I purchased the Blue Wave pole on April 23, 2019. 90 day warranty. It lasted 93 days before the plastic front ferrule cracked into a dozen pieces. The pole was not fully extended nor under extreme pressure. So cool! Make sure you purchase an appropriate saw to cut up your Blue Wave Pole for Pools so that it can fit into your recycling bin!
