Well this was bought to replace the same can opener that lasted 20 years. Yup you read that right, over 20 years. When it comes to can openers you just can't do better than Swing Away. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Best can opener on the market. Opens cans perfectly. Feels good in the hand, there's a good heft to it.

We have one identical ie everything but handle color. Probably 45 years old. Can't find a decent one, so I googled "Swing Away can opener" Nice sturdy piece of equipment, just like the old one. Very, very happy with it!

I have gone through two diff can openers in the last month. They did not work. Different brands also. This one Works awesome . Smooth.. I will be getting one more.

Buy the one that costs a few dollars more. It maybe as good as the old one. this one is not as well made as my previous one.

Hard to use it to open cans,except you strong enough to put it into the cans,the mouth of the opener doesn't fit a lot of cans!
