I bought them for doing stained glass. I put them on my fingers and thumbs so I don't get cut when I do the glass grinding. They are very inexpensive and sure beat getting cut. I highly recommend them.

Very nice finger protection
I use these to protect my fingers when I cross-stitch, and they help grip the needle plus guide the needle into the fabric in the correct areas.

These seem to run large. They don't stay on your finger as well as the old rubber ones, but they do the trick.
