My daughter broke both the (L) and (R) buttons, which are already really flimsy and sensitive. These seem more durable and they are a cheaper alternative to paying for new Nintendo ones. By the way the console cost $300 so please don't expect a Nintendo system for $50.
This item was supposed to be delivered saturday, watched the truck pull up then take off. get product on Monday late and product box has been opened pulled out the end and put back. I dont want to go any further until I get a comment from walmart
Upon pick up they only gave me the controllers. No screen when I went back to collect everything I ordered originally I was told no I would have to pay $300 to buy a screen even though the Nintendo switch I just ordered and paid for didn't have it in the package. Then Walmart refused to give me cash back so I could go somewhere else to buy my child a birthday present.
Not a switch at all!! Just controllers ONLY!!
Oh, I like the controllers but it wasn't what I thought. I thought that I was getting a whole Nintendo switch for the 50 bucks because it shows the picture of the whole thing it doesn't show just the controllers and I think that's not right
I have used the original split pad for the base switch for years. It doesn't function the best with the OLED. I bought these on sale and they work perfectly. They are very responsive and compfortable for extended use.
It says Nintendo switch and split controller but they only sent split controller.
First of all, I'm a huge pokemon fan, and when I play the switch, that's normally all I play. I mostly use handheld mode on the go, and I had already gone through several joycons due to joycon drift, so I decided to pick the HORI Split Pad Compacts up as a replacement. One thing to keep in mind is that these are obviously larger than regular joycons, and won't fit in a standard case (I'll have to invest in a new one). They also do not have motion controls, gyro, or amiibo features. However, they are comfortable in my hands and the buttons and joysticks feel high quality. Great for playing lots of handheld mode, specifically games that do not need the aforementioned features that these controllers lack (like pokemon).
I got the controller without the Nintendo switch split pad did that's false advertising when the seller said Nintendo switch split pad that comes with the yellow and grey controller I will not buy from this seller again and I'll let everyone not to buy from this seller
I never liked playing my Switch OLED handheld because the Joy-Cons were too small and not ergonomic, so I spent most of my time playing it docked. With this Hori Split pad, I love playing it in handheld mode and not tied to the TV. Be aware that you will lose some features like Rumble (vibration), Gyro, IR, and wireless. I bought it while on sale for $30, and it was definitely worth it!
