SYLVANIA PAR38 LED Grow Light Bulb, 20W, Full Cycle White Spectrum Light for Plants, High Output 13 Yr

I liked this bulb cause I could put it in a light floor lamb fixture I already had, that only took up to 40 watts. I bought it because I only have North Windows In my Apt. I bought a pretty little Cypress Tree this past Christmas and it was starting to go down hill. Now my little tree is doing great!

The Sylvania grow light is perfect for a boost of UV light for non-sunny locations. Living in Michigan, the sun barely shows itself in the fall and winter, so this grow light makes my plants happy. Plus, I have large roof overhangs, this grow bulb will even be a benefit in the sunny months for that extra dose. I put the Sylvania LED grow light bulb in the recessed lighting in the hall where I have a bunch of plants. In addition, I also put it in a portable clip lamp to provide special attention to the plants not in the recessed lighting area, thus, all my plants can get sun in the house. The grow light bulb has blue and red spectrum. It is damp rated for high humidity use and comes with a three year warranty. The Sylvania grow light bulb is rated for 15,000 hours.  For seedlings, its instructed use is for 6 to 12 inches from the plant canopy for 18 hours. For vegetative and flowering stages, its instructed use is for 18 to 30 inches from the plant canopy for 12 hours. The Sylvania LED grow light bulb did get a little warm compared to an LED light without UV. Since an LED bulb without grow capabilities does not get warm at all, it shows me that there really is spectrum light in the Sylvania bulb and it is different. I could still handle the grow bulb when it was on and removing it after it had been on. Thanks to the Sylvania LED grow light bulb, plants can always get their daily dose of sunshine.  

Works great! I have 2 bulbs that I use in a floor lamp that bends and my indoor herb garden is thriving!

Great grow light! My female plants do really well under these lights. They are low wattage and don't get hot, so using them is very safe.

you have to aim the bulb in a downward* position towards the desk where the small pots with soil and seeds are.

Nice white spectrum bulb to put in lamps for indoor plants to help with additional light without the light being annoying purple.

Added this light in the garage where my office is at, the plants in there love the light and are growing nicely.

Was not impressed at all my plants were looking a little sick this winter,, the bulb did nothing, when spring came and the plants got more sun they straightened right up.

I bought these before and I've never bought one from a company that works so badly. I would not recommend or would I ever buy this again.
