Sylvania Sdvd8739 7" Dual-screen Portable Dvd Player

Units are working fine. Great sound and image plus I love the fact the controls are in the front for easy access. Our previous player had controls on the side and therefore not visible and hard to reach for my 7 year old. The only thing to note are the straps to mount in the headrest. They are too obtrusive aesthetically. They did not look good once installed. I ended up using only the vertical strap which goes in between the seat back and the headrest therefore preserving the look and style of the seat. The one strap is sturdy enough.

I loved this DVD player it works for long or short car rides and then you can plug it into a wall for movie time on the road either camping, cottage or hotel!!!! Great to keep all entertained just wish it had a remote for the younger kids they couldn't reach the play button in the car.

Love it, Just wish it had an easier way to push the buttons for the movies and such. A remote would be amazing, stop from having to turn around and twist to turn movies on, volumn .. etc.

I use this device for a ride trip with my grandchildren it was wonderful very user friendly It was very easy for my seven year old. But not to found if the straps that hold it to the head rest.

Loved this dvd player for our 8 hour vacation ride. I will never leave home without them! We have three small children ages 2, 4, and6. this was a life saver!

I recently purchased this item and hooked it up in the vehicle for the first time and the cigarette charger didn't work and the speaker to the dual screen didn't work . I threw the original box away because I didn't expect something new not to work. I called walmart and they gave me a 800 number to another company, after speaking with the last about the return she said she would have to talk with her manager and call me back. I never received a call so I called them back and they left me on hold for 15 min and then said I will send you a return label but can not refund you the whole amount, we are gonna charge you with a restocking fee of 15% because you don't have the original box. Fyi, thus is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!! Save your money and buy a different product.

The volume is rather soft. Even raising it to the highest level it can barely be heard. We kept having problems with dvds stopping. Multiple times it kept saying loading and then would freeze. We bought it since we were going on a trip and wanted to keep our child entertained. Never could really use it since it was too quiet and kept stopping.

Online description indicated that it contained a rechargeable battery. It did not and that was a big disappointment. Was not happy when we learned that it was not portable. Therefore the item was returned to the store.

I bought this portable DVD player a month ago and returned. The second tv didn't work. Got a second set and the same thing happened. Not impressed at all.

I bought this 3 weeks ago for a trip out east. Stopped working on the way home. Kids only watched 4 movies before the thing stopped working. Bringing it back to walmart tomorrow
