T-fal Cook & Strain Stainless Steel Cookware Set, 14 piece Set

I really like this cook set. It's an easy weight to handle. Heat spread is good and even. If you're looking for non stick or are used to cooking on ceramic or teflon, you may not like this product. Cooking on medium heat with this set is key. I love being able to pour off excess liquid from the pots. So easy! The only thing I dislike is that the bottom discolors easily but Bar Keepers Friend keeps it at bay.

I'm from Italy and everyone knows Tefal, it's very popular and recommended in my country. I have been wanting to buy a new cookware for some time and did some research on brands and prices. I have experience as a cook and I love cooking, so when I saw this set at the price it was going for, I went for it, and I'm glad I did. The first thing I decided to make was French Toast. The toast was perfect. The key is to warm the pan on medium low heat and then add a little bit of butter to avoid the French Toast sticking or burning. My fiance loved it so much he got 4 Toast all fo himself lol. I suggest that people who have had problems with food sticking to pan to educate themselves before claiming that stainless steel is too hard to cook with. So if you're not familiar with stainless steel, read carefully the instructions or go on YouTube, there are plenty of videos that can help. I like this set because its also really easy to clean, once finished cooking I immediately rinsed it under warm water, add a dab of soap and passed a wash rag, and rinsed it thoroughly. If you get that tint of blue typical for the stainless, just pass some vinegar and it will shine like new. I definitely recommend this set, food cooks perfectly, without sticking and Tefal is known to last for years to come.

Initially received a large T-Fal stainless steel saucepan for Christmas and told my daughter that this is the best saucepan ever had. I've had many different cookware throughout the years and was impressed by the quality, beautiful, features (also non-toxic) and pricing of T-FAL. This Spring decided to get a whole new cookware set and looked at alot of stainless steel cookware and recalled how much I liked my T-Fal saucepan. Saw that Walmart had the T-Fal set and the pricing I liked. TOTALLY IMPRESSED THIS COOKWARE IS WONDERFUL!!! Not just "BEAUTIFUL" as the surface of the pans are practically non-stick for stainless steel (just a very small amount of oil) as I'm very conscience non-greasy food, I'm super impressed!!! I love it!!! I can just go on and on!!!

The product isn't bad, and the quality is good, but the price is a little high for the number of pieces. I haven't tried it yet, but I hope it will be a good experience.

I love the appearance of these Tfal pots and pans. They have nice weight to them but not too heavy. I've used the Tfal nonstick pans in the past and loved them. But these stainless steel pans are a little different without the nonstick coating, when it comes to the frying pan. I've only used the large one for frying and heating meat, adding veg and rice. I let the pan heat up for a minute on med-high, then added olive oil and turned the heat down to medium. when I added the meat it was fine. When I added the sauce packet, cooked rice %26 veg, the rice %26 sauce stuck to the pan. But then I reduced the heat again, and everything released from the pan, no problem. So I think I just need more experience in using the pan. The pan fried with oil, no problem. You just need to wait for the crust to brown, and your protein to cook. Try to lift before then and the chicken %26 chops would not release from the pan, yet. It's a good indicator of when it's right to flip the food. The handles are long and did not heat up causing me to use a potholder. But the are intrusive when storaging and on the stove. You need to be conscious %26 cautious of the position the handle. They are long and can be easily hit if you are reaching towards another burner, or moving another pot or pan. I enjoyed using them. And although the food stuck in the beginning, it did not burn. They washed well. But the cooking surface did discolor after each use. I used a pot to boil pasta and no problem. The measurements are helpful when filling the pot with water. I had a new strainer you clip on the pot so I used that instead of the pot top. But I've used the pot tops in the past to strain out pasta water and it works well, too. I am not pleased with the utensils because they are plastic. But I knew that when purchasing the set. I will not be using them. I have silicone ones. I no longer use metal utensils, nor wash my pots %26 pans in the dishwasher. I just don't like it.

I have only used it once but so far it cooks very well. It conducts heat very well and evenly so no need to use high heat while cooking. The quality is very good. It's very sturdy and has some weight to it. I highly recommend if you need good quality for a low price.

I love this set. They are inexpensive, but well made. They are heavy and stay put on the stove. So easy to clean. Food cooks evenly and as long as you preheat the pans, nothing sticks to it. I only have 2 small complaints. I wish the 2 quart pot had the heat resistant handles like the pans and I find it inconvenient that the 2 quart pot lid doesn't fit on the frying pan. It sits inside the pan and the lid tends to sit in the food on certain dishes. I plan on buying another frying pan of the same brand, but I would have done that regardless because one frying pan just isn't enough.

have only tried the large frying pan. it stains very easy and does not come out when washed. i even tried cleaning it with a stainless steel pad and still would not remove the stains. you get what you pay for. metal is on the thinner side compared to my other pans i own. if you dont mind the discoloration, then they'll work for you.

I used the pot to just boil some water and after 1 yes it is incredibly stained. I hand washed it and waited til it cooled off to do so, so I don't think I did anything wrong. I used the pan to warm up a tortilla and it also stained like crazy. The other pan I used to cook an egg, I oiled the pan and cracked the egg in and it completely stuck to the pan so I couldn't flip the egg and just had to start over in my old pan. I'm trying to get a refund. I'm convinced all of the high ratings are from people who haven't used the items yet.

bought these for my rv, opened the box to this bs thrown in there with no protection on most of the glass lids and for some reason received a used pan. like WOW really you order new stuff and get it used. amazing. Walmart off loop 250 in Midland T.X. would not ever recommend shopping online there
