TAL 20 oz Insulated Travel Coffee Mug Black

This travel mug is not bulky at all, yet kept my coffee hot for a very long time. It holds a full 20 ounces. The lid is tight and leak-proof. I like the shiny, porcelain-like exterior finish and actually prefer it over the matte, pastel finish of other mugs. Although I have other insulated beverage containers, this is the one I reach for most often because it holds a decent amount without being overly bulky. Definitely recommended.

Not overpriced! Works perfect for cold beverages, mainly water for me. When ice is added, the actual ice will still be in container after 24 hours. I use same brand for coffee mug, just a different size. I like the handle and that the bottom design fits in car beverage holder. Well made, dependable.

This is the only insulated tumbler I use! They were carrying them in the stores but I recently was not able to find this brand. I wish they still carried them instore! It keeps your drinks cold or hot. I love the straight design because it easily fits in your car's cup holder, it's not too heavy and easily knocked over, and believe me while working in the kitchen I have been known to accidentally bump it. It keeps my drink cold all night with ice still in it the next morning. I have 3 of them and one is about 6 years old and it still keeps my drink as cold as the new one with the seal still secure and the lid fits tight. You can't go wrong with this tumbler.

What this 20oz TAL Stainless Steel Mountaineer Travel Mug offers is maintaining the temperature of your beverage for long periods of time whether hot or cold. When the lid is tightened securely the lid is properly oriented for right handers. I believe it is the perfect size when and wherever you travel as it slender shape fits comfortably in your backpack\carryon comfortably. I plan to purchase several more for gifts.

I really love this cup. It keeps my coffee hot for a few hours at the start of the work day. I am a clumsy person and drop my cups so often, I will say the lid has broken but if you're a normal person, I am sure yours will hold up just fine. It fits nicely in my car cup holder without moving around too much. To add, I have never used any cold beverages in it.

This is exactly as advertised. The top screws on and aligns to be held with the right hand. The top seals weĺl to prevent spilling. The handle is very sturdy but wish it was thicker from a grip perspective. It would be easier for me to hold if the handle was thicker as I have hand dexterity issues. Overall, this is exactly what I wanted from a sturdy, heat retaining, spill proof mug.

Got this for my farmer husband who uses it ever day...actually all day..It fits perfectly in all vehicle holders... and he uses the handle for easy drinking......It has been so hot...it stays nice and cool with frozen cubes in it...thanks so much for the f a s t delivery too....we love Walmart and all their great products!!

This mug is to be held with the right hand handle. The lid twists on with a flip back sip opening. The flip back opening draw back is that it hits you in the face when taking a drink. Although the positive is that this style lid is easier to clean. Mug seems well made. Wish it was for a left handed person. Wish the lid was made differently.

The mug is fine, but if you are left handed you will have to hold it like a glass. The lid screws on and always opens for a right handed person. I have issues with my right arm so can't hold anything with it. I have a 40 oz mug that is too heavy to pick up so got this one to use which is 20 oz. No such luck. Still on the look out for one with handle that can be used left handed.

I'd been eyeing this for a while--loved the speckled design, looking like old enameled steel cups and cookware, and the straight lines of the body and handle. Liked that the handle was metal and identically finished as the body (don't like when a metal body has a plastic handle). Liked that it looked slim enough for my cup holder. Liked the idea of a secure, screw-on lid. My point of comparison for this TAL is a Yeti Rambler 24oz with a magnetic slider, which I like. The TAL feels a bit chintzy, like the metal is thinner and cheaper--I feel like a hard squeeze could dent it, whereas the Yeti feels much more solid. Also, turns out I'm bothered by the TAL bottom being a separate part attached to the rest of the body (unlike the Yeti)--somehow seems inelegant and less durable, and that was before I saw another review showing it falling off. One of my biggest problems, surprisingly, is the speckled finish: on mine, at least, there are big patches where there are basically no white spots. Just plain green paint, then nearby is a dense smattering. I suppose I'm unusually particular, but somehow this inconsistency is maddening. Instead of being like a field of stars, it's like a field of stars with patches of the stars missing for some reason. Anyway, I can't speak to the thermal properties or anything else because I haven't used it since it's probably being returned. Better in pictures than in my hand.
