TAL Stainless Steel Ranger Tumbler with Straw 24oz, Gray Blue

I love the slate blue color of this Tal 24oz stainless steel tumbler. It is well made and keeps my drinks cold for hrs. I like lots of ice especially in the summer months so very pleased with the tumbler maintaining the temperature of the ice. In the cold months I can put my hot coffee or hot chocolate in the tumbler and have it maintain the heat for hours due to the double wall vacuum insulation. When the straw is removed a flap under the cap closes off the hole so you can place it in a sports bag, purse, car seat etc without it spilling. The flap sometimes gets in the way of the ice so have to move it around. The straw is really sturdy and thick. The lid and straw can be washed in the dishwasher but the steel body is hand wash only. It is not microwave and freezer safe. The tumbler measures approximately 8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide from top of the lid. I certainly will get a lot of use out of this sturdy tumbler.

First and foremost I want to say how absolutely amazed I was at how well this tumbler keeps my water cold. I received it in the mail in late in the afternoon and around 9 p.m. filled it halfway up with water and then all the way up with ice. I drank a couple sips of it and left it on my headboard when I went to bed. When I woke up at 7:30 a m there was still a large chunk of ice in the tumbler and my water was still super ice cold. I couldn't believe it! It literally kept my water ice cold for almost 12 hours which is absolutely awesome to me. I really like the Sleep look of it. It has a dishwasher safe lid and straw which is pretty cool so you can easily just slip them the dishwasher. It would be really nice if the bottom was dishwasher safe but I think because it's double insulated it's not. You have to wash the Cup by hand but it's really simple and it doesn't have any weird or hard-to-reach spots. One of the things I noticed is that it has a little clip on the inside of the lid which I think was strange. So if you take the straw out the clip kind of snapshot and fills the hole where the straw usually sits. I'm thinking maybe that's for transportation purposes I don't I know for sure. However I did take the straw out and tip my whole Tumblr upside down and it did not leak at all so I think that is just a precaution so if you want to put it in a backpack or something you simply take the straw out and your cup won't spill. It seems very durable and it's not too heavy it fits nicely inside my cup holders in my car, the straw is made of plastic so it's not as easy to break. Overall I think I found my new favorite ice water and smoothie cup!

Very cute cup that is spill proof when the straw is taken out. Insulation isn’t the best, I’d say it keeps my drinks cool for maybe half of the day if even, but definitely not 40hrs as advertised.

I own multiple Tal water bottles. I have success with this brand (they hold up long term and keep my water/drinks cold). I live in Florida and the summers are brutal. I drink mostly water during the day and always bring some with me when I run errands. It gets left in the car so it has to be a good bottle to keep my water cold. It’s hard to drink out of a normal water bottle (screw lid, no straw) because it blocks my view as I’m driving (have to tilt your head back and bottle is in front of your face). This water bottle is perfect. If you can’t see my pics or can’t tell what is going on, the straw hole has a spring tensioned closure. Push the straw down through it and it holds your straw firmly in place. Without the straw, the hole is completely closed and sealed. I can turn my drink completely upside down and it won’t spill. With the straw, a full bottle will slowly drip out when knocked over. So, you can pretty much grab it before it starts to spill out. The straw does not have the feel of those cheap plastic ones. The ice will last a long time in AC. In outdoor, July 4th, brutal heat, my ice did melt quicker, but my drink was always cold. I use this bottle daily now.

This stainless steel tumbler is my absolute favorite cup to drink from. It holds 24oz and keeps the liquid cold or hot for hours. The straw is easy to clean. The lid is easy to twist on and off. I take this with me wherever I go. It fits perfectly in cup holders in the car. I tend to drop it a lot and it still looks brand new.

I was so surprised when this cup arrived, it comes with a straw and a screw on cover that lets you know that it is on secure. I took this cup with me while I was going shopping I left it in the car, when I returned back to the car an hour an hour and a 1/2 later my drink was still cold. The only thing I wish is that it had a slot on the side so that you can attach the straw for storage. I highly recommend this product.

I consider myself a "cup connoisseur" meaning I have tried tons of these type cups in the last few years looking for that perfect cup. I don't think this is the PERFECT cup for me, but that's not to say it's not a really good cup. Pros: I really like the sleek design of this cup. It feels good in your hand and the straw is nice and wide. It keeps drinks cold for a decent amount of time, but I think 18 hours might be a stretch. I can put a drink in it at night and it will be cold when I wake up, but the ice will be mostly melted. Fits in my car drink holder, goes in the dishwasher and it's insulated so it doesn't sweat. Cons: The straw is clear plastic and it's already starting to look worn at the top. Another thing I don't like is the "flap" that covers the straw hole when the straw is removed. It puts tension on your straw and holds it at a weird angle. I'm probably going to see if I can remove that feature without doing any damage to the cup. Also, it seems like I have to refill this cup often. It hold 3 cups not including ice. Otherwise, it's a solid choice and I'll definitely keep this cup in rotation with my others.

If your active and move around alot this cup is great. The hole for the straw is a spring loaded trap door that automatically closes keeping fluids from splashing out. Even tho the cup is designed to be splash proof it isnt spill proof, dont expect to turn it on its side and not have some leakage. I can also see cleaning the top being a problem if its really dirty. The rubber seal comes out easily for cleaning but that also means in the future it may not stay in. Also like any cup with a straw, the straw is difficult to clean. I dont see this cup being future proof and last like a Yeti Style cup, while the idea is cool and handy i dont think it will last and it can be hard to clean if you put anything other than water in it. This is the reason i have it 4 stars.

I purchased this exact product in this exact color a couple of years ago as well as another color, and then it was 5 Star fantastic. Your drink was cold for a good 18 hours and the ice inside melted so slowly that you ran out of the drink before your ice melted. Fast forward to the purchase I just recently made and I don’t know if it’s a different product design or different materials that it is made of, but this is terrible. Your drink barely stays cold for six hours and forget the ice inside, it melts right away. Also disturbing was that the outside of the cup actually add condensation on the outside of it when a cold drink was on the inside. Again this never happened with the same exact product I bought a couple of years ago. Absolutely disappointing!!
