Taliah Waajid Protective Leave in Conditioner 8oz

I have been using this spray on my braids for several months now and it is the best out there! I spent a lot of money and time trying to find a braid spray that does not leave a build up or overly scented as I am extremely sensitive to perfumes. For reference I have thick 4c hair and I mix this spray with rose water and it gives me the moisture I need when my hair is in braids. Leaves my hair in braids moisturized and refreshed. I don't usually write reviews but I hope this helps someone out there searching for a product for their 4c hair especially in braids needing moisture in Canadian winters and anytime time of year actually because I know how hard it is to find products for this hair type.

PROS - VERY moisturizing without the 3 Evils of being sticky, heavy, or greasy at all. That part is perfect. CONS - I am not crazy about the herbal scent - however, it's faint and doesn't linger, in my opinion. And... let me address the issue of the bottle style. I see lots of people mentioning the nozzle. There is a type of collar around the nozzle that you have to turn to either Open or Close the spray. It's hard to see because it's tiny. You lift the collar and turn it one way to open the spray. To close it, you turn the other way and lower the collar. The problem is it's hard to see that you have to LIFT the collar to turn it. And the Open/Close writing is teeny-tiny. I used my phone magnifier to check it when I saw how much trouble people had. This is the best price around and I am glad for it. This stuff is so good that, if I had to, I might pay a little bit of a higher price but no need in being silly with my money.

Love this product on my natural twists, helps them stay tight without the dry look. Hate the bottle top. Breaks easily under stress. Received a broken bottle top in delivery. Better to purchase in-store, throw away the top, and pour directly in hand to apply to hair.

The engineering of the bottle is stupid and flimsy hard to spray without the top coming off you would do better just pouring it and rubbing it in your hair
