Tasty 15 Piece Stainless Steel Block Knife Cutlery Set, Multicolor

I received this item through the Spark Reviewer Program and am very pleased with it. The colors are great and the knives and scissors are very sharp. This makes a nice addition to my kitchen. This would make an awesome shower gift or house warming gift.

I LOVE this knife set. It has everything you could need, for your kniving needs! And, if you're like me with no kitchen skills, this is a huge blessing. It comes with a handy sticker to put on the side of the knife holder, to tell you what each knife is used for. I definitely needed shearing scissors as well to help cut the meat and chicken fat much easier than using a regular knife. The color coded handles make it not only more easy to identify what knife is which, but it also adds a bit of flare to your kitchen counter. In my particular case, the colors also draw attention to curious children, which is a drawback because I have to put it only on certain spots on the counter so they don't notice it as much. I think this set is literally everything and more that you could need. I would certainly recommend it. Even the most seasoned chefs could use this, because you can't tell what knife is what when it's inside the holder so the colors help you quickly differentiate what you need. It is almost too pretty to use! The knives are best hand washed and dried and put away. Make sure they're thoroughly cleaned so you don't get food particles in the slots on the holder. I recommend! And who doesn't love Tasty?!

I received the Tasty knife set in the mail and it's perfect timing! I was looking for a new knife set because mine was super small only had four knifes and they weren't very sharp so when I received this I was very excited! It's a 15 piece set, and they are many different sizes which is just what I needed! I love all of the different colors that make it pop! Every single knife that I have used has been very sharp and can cut through almost anything! My biggest struggle was trying to cut potatoes and now I have no problem doing that it cuts right through them! My favorite part about the set is that it comes with many knifes but it also comes with a sharp pair of scissors! I use them a lot more than I thought I ever would have! For everything not just cutting food! But opening packages and help cooking dinner with them. I recommend this product to anyone in need of a new knife set! And they are reasonably prices for the quality you get as well! Amazing quality product!

These are some great knives! They seem to be sharp and so far have cut what I have used them on with ease. The set has so many options to choose from they included a sticker to guide you what each knife is, however if you do not want to stick that sticker on your knife block each knife is labeled what it is. The handle to blade ratio for me is balanced well, the handles could be slightly heavier but that's just me being picky, the knives work perfect how they are. This set even includes a set of kitchen shears, along with 6 steak knives. So far i have used these and washed them in the dishwasher and I have not had any discoloration of the materials and the knives still remain sharp after a few uses this far. Stainless steel seems to be of great quality. The materials for the handle appear to be of great quality and I love the added protection on the handle to protect fingers. I found no flaws on my knife block. Overall I am very pleased with this set and will continue to use and update as wear and tear happens.

This is a very nice set I love it. Iove how it comes with a sticker you can put on the knife block to show you what the k idea are used for. Also if you didn't want it on the block you don't have to because it's a sticker you put on your self. I'm happy with these. It's all color coded.

I received this product for review purposes and I am impressed by all the different knifes and love the colors. The quality is great and I love the scissors having a drink opener on it. Very new to me ans great use. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for this type of product.

This is most knives I've had in my kitchen at once. The knives are good, sleek and sharp! You have a knife for everything! I have used the chefs knife (the biggest 1) and the paring knife. It comes with 6 steak knives. I cut my meat and vegetables sooo much faster! It made me realize that I really needed some new knives. The block holder is very strong and sturdy. There's also a sticker for you to place on the front of the holder which tells you what each knife is to be used for.

The set includes an 8" chef knife, a 7" bread knife, a 6" slicer knife, a 5.5" Santoku knife, a 3.5" paring knife, a 3" bird's beak knife, 6 4.5" steak knives, all-purpose shears, and a black cutlery block. This is a great knife key that shows you what every knife is used for. I never had a knife set that came with a guide or key. These knives feature professional, high-quality stainless steel blades for durability so these knives will last for years of kitchen prep to come. The high quality comes at a reasonable price. The soft grip handles on these knives add a little bit of extra grip, so you can mince and dice without your knife slipping in your hand. These knives are a nice replacement for my previous knife set. I like that each knife has an assigned color and the key will let you know what the best use for it. I would recommend this Tasty 15 Piece Block Knife Set to anyone looking to have a nice knife set for a reasonable price, it's well worth the price.

Right upfront, I'll let you know that when I decide to review a product or service, leave a review on an item, my opinion is based on value for price paid and use. I don't compare a $300 knife set and a $40 knife set on the same scale. That said, this is a nice set. More than sharp enough, and a nice selection of sizes. The santoku knife is smaller than any I've seen, but I really like it. The chef's knife is plenty big enough. I really like that most of the knives are not serrated. I have used very expensive sets that I didn't like because some of the larger knives were serrated. The steak knives in this set are serrated, so I'll deduct a few points for that. Not sure why, but I have a thing against serrated knives. If you have a sharp knife, there's really no reason to use a serrated one other than for bread, or a cut of meat that is as tough as a baseball glove. I saw some reviews mentioning rust, and the sleeves that the knives come in say to "Hand wash only" and "Dry immediately". I actually have never had a knife set ever that rusted - ever - but I do hand wash and dry. Just to make sure that these weren't especially prone to rust, the three in the photo were washed, rinsed, and set it on the counter to dry. Three days in row. No problems at all. This set is physically lighter than many that I've used, but I really think I like that. I'm not a prolific chef so I can't speak about how long they will hold an edge, but I've used them for a couple of weeks and they're absolutely fine. If you're someone who, like me, doesn't cook a whole lot of multi-course meals (In my case, "not a whole lot" means "none") then I wouldn't hesitate to try this set.

I am really enjoying this set. The handles are color coded for easy identification of what knife you are looking for. Even has a sticker you can place on the back side of the block that tells you what each knife is for. The blades are sturdy and don't flex like the last set I had. The handles have a nice rubberized coating so you won't lose your grip. The block is okay. My main complaint is that the birds beak knife does not stay in its place. It kind of falls out of alignment which was driving my OCD crazy. I found if you leave the tip guard on it, it holds it in place like the others. I saw some say they were having issues with the blade forming some rust when left in the sink, I have not had this issue. The manufacturer states you should hand wash and dry the knives immediately after each use. With doing so you will not have any issues.
