I used the thermometer today while baking bread. I cannot believe that my oven is off by 50 degrees (too cool). I purchased the thermometer since I had concerns about oven temp. I set my oven to 500 degrees to get a temperature of 450.

If you are someone who uses your oven a lot this is a must have. Especially if you bake! I was burning things and couldn't understand why. Then I got this and my oven was off by 25 degrees. Now I haven't burnt a thing. It works great

Because I am an avid bread baker, I needed accuracy of oven temp prior to putting bread in oven. This is small, compact; and simply dangles from my bottom rack, not taking up any oven space. Highly recommend it!

After moving to our apartment, I baked a cake at 325° and it burnt in 10 minutes. Got this and at 200° setting on my stove, the thermometer read 450°! I'll never trust an oven again without using this thermometer. Needless to say, it is what I use every time I bake, which is often.

I can't see the dial through my oven window — and opening the door affects the temp. I'm also not confident in its accuracy, but no way to tell that…

i was shopping one that had colors but received black and white only, it is difficult to read. hanging clip could be better

Good price, a little thinner material than my old one, but still priced well.
