Best purchase I have made in a long time! I was so off and on with which portable AC I should buy? What was the best deal? Which would cool my 3 rd floor apt down because it's absolutely miserable without cool air…. And I nailed it!!!!

Seems well made. Noise level is as I expected and reasonable for a portable unit. The only issue with installation is with the window vent. The shape of the nozzle connecting the vent hose to the window fitting is such that it hits the window sill when it's actually installed in the window. Had to set the vent in the sill and use tape to hold in place rather than closing the window on it. Otherwise it works fine.

This was just what we were looking for. It arrived in 2 days took about 30 minutes to set up. We place it in our bedroom 1-2 hours before bed time and it stays cool all night. I can see how some think it is loud, no longer than a fan. We don.t run it during the night anyway . probable going to buy another one to cool our entire upstairs.

Easy enough to set up though I had a devil of a problem getting one end of the hose and the end that goes to the window opening to screw in and to stay put. Duct tape fixed that, it's not pretty but it worked which is all I cared about. Also having trouble getting remote to operate, as I could not get it registered in the app. But thankfully it blows cold air. My central ac was not cooling enough for me to sleep so I turned it up, moved the portable ac to blow across my bed, set it to 68 and slept comfortably for the first time since temps hit the high 90's. Praying the AC will last a long time. Did not know portable ac 's could get this cold. Doubt it will cool big rooms as cold as I want it but my set-up works for me. Hopefully being able to decrease my central ac work will offset some of the cost from my power bill. It's already astronomical,

Overall good unit and a good price. Installation is tricky as window unit is very narrow so keeping the hose connected can be really difficult when you're trying to position it into the window well. I ended up having to buy additional insulation to make it fit properly. Despite the additional insulation I still felt like it wasn't sealed properly and bought a different window panel off Amazon.

We had to return it, as the window kit would not work with our relatively standard window. We were going to have to add something under the plastic insert, and largely tape up the cracks to make it airtight. Cannot comment on unit itself as we never turned it on.

worked good for a week. now it cools but the compressor is very loud ( hard thumping noise when turning on an off). Wouldn't recommend for bedroom use.

The unit didn't come with the three-piece slide window kit to be able to set it up. After several phone calls and several text messages they're still not sending me the kit. My intent is to return this to Walmart, however with the heat and I live on the third floor of an old brownstone that doesn't have any central air-conditioning because it's 120 years old it's very difficult for me to get anybody to help me carry it down to my car so I can return it. I'm also disabled and can't do it myself.

All I see is the carton is all torn ,not looking like new they should have atleast put in a better pack,guess someone bought and returned. For now I cant say anything about the product itself until I try it.After all the delay,I didn't expect it to arrive looking used from d pack

I have to place a fan in front of it in order for it to cool the room. Incase you are wondering, the room isn't even big at all. Have a full size bedroom set and everything tight. Takes about 5 hours for you to feel it on its own. Stuck with it now as I waited too long to return it.
