Damaged TV Packaging
I did not like how the TV arrived. The TV looked like it had been opened several times with the box severely damaged. I returned it, because I did not want to take a chance on TV being damaged when I opened it. Hope to receive my refund soon.

Never buying tcl again
This tv is complete garbage. It's dead at 4 years old and has been making loud high pitched whistling noises since it was 3 months old and tcl is aware of the issue with the power board that makes this happen. The picture started turning green in the lower left corner and now the whole screens went crazy. The picture has always been awful. It can't replicate blanks at all and the color bleed on a dark screen is horrendous. This is going in the trash and the new Panasonic will hopefully outlast the 4 years this did.

Not recommended
not compatible with Cox cable box. Terrible support from TCL. Cable boxes will work properly on our other tvs, but not this TCL.

I just want to watch TV!
To ROKU: I just paid over $1200 for a new Roku TCL TV, wanting to plug in my A/V receiver and watch my movies. So I start it up, and it REQUIRES AN EMAIL ADDRESS!!!! Why do I have to enter an email address to watch a TV over an HDMI cable? So I did that. It did a software download and then required me to ENTER MY EMAIL ADDRESS AGAIN! Now I have to go to a computer and go through 10 minutes of screens asking questions that are none of your business. So I did that. I checked off absolutely zero channels or services, I don't want them. So I went back to my TV and watched for 15 minutes as it downloaded "channels". Then my Internet glitched, as it often does here. And it started me back over from having to enter my email address AGAIN and DO ALL THESE STEPS AGAIN!!!!! So another 15 minutes of my time wasted. Then I go back when it's finally done and you've installed 43 channels of crap which I don't want, and I'd be wasting another hour getting rid of them all. I AM RETURNING THE TV and never getting ROKU or TCL again!

Worst TV manufacture ever
Worst tv ever- and the warranty is not honoured at all by TLC. Would never buy another TCL tv ever
