Stunning, the TV is absolutely stunning. I am an avid TV guy. I am also a System administrator with over 16 years of experience. I have bought plenty of TV's and have professionally tuned every single one of them. This TV is nothing short of amazing. I bought the 85" and upgraded from a 65 inch LG 4K UHD TV. This is the Q651G not the Q650G. TCL has seemed to resolve all complaints from the Q650G. As far as WIFI goes, I cant speak to that. It seemed solid for the little amount of time I used it. I hard wired it once i moved my router. If you're technsavy you can make the proper adjustments on the router. Viewing angles are good, processor was upgraded and is quick, Google TV is the only OS I will buy now. You can side load apps, connect an xbox or PlayStation remote. Darks are dark, whites are white. its a budget TV for the ones wanting 120 fps. I cant speak to longevity but I bought an extended warranty because it was $100 so why not tack it on. For those on edge out there, make sure your getting the 651 and enjoy.
This TV is truly amazing for the price. I'm a gamer and the real 120 htz and I monitor FPS is stunning difference. A PlayStation 5 and this TV as a combo will change your gaming experience.
The place they used for the delivery was the worst I've ever had. They messed my delivery up three times the third time they brought the wrong TV. I had to go to Santa Fe Springs California to pick up my own TV but the TV is great easy delivery I would not recommend their services.
Overall solid top end budget tv set. The only thing will likely need to do is adjust the black level to 90. It grays out the black level but removes any smoke effect due to lack of local dimming. Again, for a budget tv this is definitely on the higher end: solid build, speakers are actually nice if you use them, and the remote looks and feels cool.
I am extremely disappointed with this order. The TV arrived in unacceptable condition. The box was heavily damaged, had a large hole directly in the center where the screen is located, and even had a "RETURN TO: Walmart.com" label, which indicates this TV had already been returned before being shipped to me. After opening the box, we found that the screen is completely broken with severe display damage and colored lines across the panel. This product was clearly damaged before or during shipment and should never have been sent to a customer. I expect Walmart to arrange a pickup from my home as soon as possible. I should not be responsible for transporting an 85-inch damaged television that arrived in this condition. I also expect either a replacement in brand-new condition or a full refund. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I expect this issue to be resolved immediately.
Don't buy from WM!!! WM plus is a rip off!!WM advised after weeks of issues for delivery, return processes for defective product, to discard repair or donate the defective item., and I would receive a refund in full after offering to return to the local store which they refused. Multiple calls, hrs on the phone, promised refunds multiple times and WM reps from foreign countries assuring me calls are recorded would happen. USA rep apologized for the misinformation, sorry they shouldn't have told you that multiple times on all those calls, said $800 was too expensive and to dispute it with my bank because WM can't take that amount of loss even though WM reps told me to do so. WM doesn't back their customers or what their reps instruct them to do. Competitors they told me to use my refund for to purchase the same item could have delivered same model in days. They did give me 6 months free of WM , $50 for their $800 mess up. Stick with Costco, Amazon, and BJ's for big purchases and the same competitive price. Again this item is physically and financially too big for Walmart to handle even for paying plus members.
It arrived broken / bent. the top bezel has a significant curve in it right where the box has a crease. No need to go any further with the unboxing. I read so many reviews predicting this might happen but noooo - I just had to believe Walmart could handle a package that size and shape - they cannot.
I should have listened….. I'm sure the tv is awesome but Walmart shipping is absolutely atrocious. The box looks like it just arrived back from World War III. I just knew as soon as I pulled the cardboard off and BAM! There it was, a broken screen go figure. Do yourself a favor and just pick it up at the store yourself.
Received with a cracked screen (protective film still on). The TV was stored safely and never powered on. The box had discreet shipping damage that wasn't obvious until opening. Walmart refused replacement/refund due to the time since purchase. If you buy this, inspect immediately and keep all packaging as evidence.
I read all the reviews about tvs arriving damaged and thought that wouldn't happen to me. The box was in great condition when it arrived. It took me hours to get the tv installed and then I turned it on. Badly damaged screen for me too. It looked like the screen protector was glued to the screen as if it had melted at some point. Then the even harder part… returning an 85 inch tv. I don't know how I got that thing back in the box, but I did. I will never have a tv delivered from Walmart again. The guy who picked up the damaged tv for the return told me they get damaged ones all the time. I paid a little extra and had Best Buy deliver and install a new one without any damages.
