Techron Protection Plus Powersports and Small Engine Fuel System Treatment, 10oz

This is the best fuel stabilizer that I have found and it has the bonus of Techron additive to keep engines clean.

I normally view additives as snake oil but I think Techron is a legitimate product. I go out of my way and pay more for Chevron gas because of their additive package. I use this in my motorcycles and it seems to work well as a stabilizer plus it doesn't have alcohol in it.

As many know, ethanol in today's gasoline can be destructive to small engines and their fuel lines / carburetors if not used up before the fuel begins to degrade. I bought this Techron product to stabilize 10% ethanol gasoline bought at a regular gas station pump and used in my lawn mower and 2 stroke string trimmer and leaf blower. I've used other stabilizers, you probably know their brand names which I won't mention here, and wan't overwhelmed with their performance. The Techron, so far, has been the best at keeping my fuel fresh. With other fuel stabilizer brands, my lawn mower became harder to start once the gasoline was about a month old. Not so with the Techron, which has kept the gasoline "fresh" enough to start with no noticeable after 2 months with no noticeable difference after the gasoline was fresh from the pump. Now going into the 3rd month, we'll see if the Techron can continue to extend the freshness of the fuel stored in my gas can. I will consider that a bonus, as I'm pleased to get 2 months for now. I'm assuming the other brands perform well enough to protect your engines from the harmful effects of ethanol for longer than 1 month, but in my relatively short experience with this Techron product, they certainly don't keep the fuel as fresh for the same length of time the Techron does. Admittedly, I tried this new Techron for small engines when it first hit the market a few months ago because it is a well respected brand and its sister products have long received great reviews from those who use them in their cars. But now I have first hand experience with this new product for small engines and I'm pleased.

This is the best stabilizer on the market. I have motorcycles, a mower and a pressure washer. After winter storage the bike with just stabil was unhappy starting. The bike with this Techron started with one press. Incredible. Smooths out carburetors, too.
