Product is larger than shown on the box plastic.

J May 23, 2026

In comparison the Depend Shield guard is more discrete and compact than the TENA Guard. The TENA is about the size of a large grapefruit, the depend is about the size of a lemon. The image on the box looks 3x smaller than the actual TENA product is. Both work as intended.

Purchased these for my someone that needed possible protection in case he 'dribbled. Sometimes he can not get tobthe mens room rughtvaway while he is working. So, I did a lot of online research and checked out ratings. He had been wearing another brand for a while, which he did not like because as soon as they got wet, they swell up and become uncomfortable. His opinion on these is very good though. He wanted a brand/style that did not swell up when they were actually used. And these do not. The shape of these is quite different from other brands, and in his opinion, they are clearly superior. They stay put with the adhesive in his undergarment all day. And if he doesn't get it wet, it does not swell up like a soaked diaper. The price was clearly better at Walmart, as opposed to other retailers . And the company does have several different absorbancy levels. The user will be sticking with these now. No need to test drive any others.

My dad thought these were great. We pushed fluids on him a lot since he was so dehydrated. on a side note, a female friend of mine saw them thought they were female items and used them since she has a heavy flow and liked them a lot better than the feminine products that are sold for heavy flow. Since they are so bulky and uncomfortable

No baggy pants lol 😎

Ron September 23, 2026

I'm very happy for this product. Initially I started wearing pull-ups but they were bulky and very uncomfortable. I saw an add on tv so I thought I would try them. I'm very happy with them and I don't feel bad about going out in public with a baggy seat. And I feel good about myself again.

I have had to use some sort of pad for the last 10 years and have tried many different brands. I always end up coming back to Tena's as my go to brand.

embarrassing but necessary at my age, these pads are good at absorbing but awkward to attach, Was it designed by a woman? they're triangularly shaped with a narrow adhesive down the back. the wings aren't supported and aren't where I need absorption unless placed uncomfortably low.

Tena Men's Incontinence Guards

MARK October 3, 2026

Received these today. Although they provide good protection I find they separate from my underwear and somehow the tape attached itself to my skin including private parts. It was not as easy to separate from them as it does from the underwear. I find that the Depends brand is better at securing on my underwear and have not experienced the same as with these pads.

Suggestions for improvements

Jesse August 16, 2026

These are nicely absorbent, but have 2 problems: if one is active, the wings can tend to fold over towards the middle and present a non-absorbent face to urine leaks. Also, it can be hard for a senior (I imagine most of your buyers) to open the plastic cover because it is hard to see the opening. Improvements could be a bit of sticky substance also applied to the wings, and a visible white edge to the plastic cover opening.

Large lesker

Gary July 27, 2026

I like the design of the Tena pads that are shaped almost triangular. It's a good design, but the absorancy wasn't adequate for me. If I had more than a very brief leak, perhaps a few drops, the leak went down my leg. Perhaps if spread out on the pad, the leak may have been contained. But mine aren't always a few drops. A sudden temperature change can occasionally cause a larger letdown, and that isn't acceptable. Especially if I'm wearing khaki pants. I like the design but it doesn't work for me.
