Terminator: Dark Fate

While not as original as the first Terminator movie (impossible to beat that one), the story line is credible and interesting, while the action sequences would keep you on the edge of your seat. I also like it, because two of the original actors return in this installment: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. Apparently, time has treated him a tad better. But then, again, he`s a machine :)

Good storyline

Great movie; ends original Terminator story. New characters are strong in their parts and having “Sara” come back makes it a good finale. Her character was a little sad in that she is older with kill terminators all her life as her main achievement BUT she is tough from her life and a good with weapons and helps keep the new girl, Dani, safe as she recalls being her wayback and must save her to save the future once again. Arnold (Carl) has become a family man and has secretely told sara via encrypted text over the years when terminators are coming to give her life meaning as compensation for killing her son. That is the odd part here in the story as well as seeing that even after taking out Skynet there still rises another AI called legion. They seek carl out because they discover he was sending sara the messages and his coordinates were edged on the new protector “Grace” (instead of kyle reese). Carl teams up to help keep the new girl safe from the new terminator. Sara vowes to kill him afterwards. Anyway, with any time movie you just have to go with it. As i said i liked it alot and having sara back concludes the original movie. Well worth it.

Foul language was a bit much and felt misplaced and necessary for the dialogue, like most movies these days. Great plot and acting otherwise though. Love all the Terminator Movies. This was no let down and felt like it tied in well with all the other franchise films without disrespecting any of them, with all the possible timelines considered. Really wish they would just keep making them...

Its terminator, whats not to like? Action and Arnold are synonymous with each other.

The only reason I gave this movie any stars at all, was because Linda Hamilton is in it. I was so excited for her to come back to the franchise, got all hyped up to see the sequel to T2, and was sorely disappointed. It does have some great special effects, but the storyline for Arnold's Terminator character is completely ridiculous. The only thing that saves this movie from total suckage, is Linda Hamilton.
