Best. Movie. Ever
Excellent movie! I have all of the ones of this series and although Arnorld isn't in it, it is still an excellent movie with great special effects! I am looking forward to another one!
a very good movie that makes every terminator fan screaming for more.
I was at first hesitant to buy it online and have to wait a few days AFTER it was available in the stores, but the savings more than made up for it. We missed this movie in the theaters, but with a wide-screen HD and home theater, it was worth the wait. This was good. Too often sequels start to lose it the more they go away from the first one. This one could actually stand on its own. Having seen the others, you are aware of the main character's role in the Terminator series and what is really going on and why (though the movie does touch on it briefly). I have already placed my order for more new releases and am just waiting for them to come in.
Loved all the action! My husband had a hard time keeping up with the flashing forward and backward through time. He had to watch it twice to catch it all. I think the actors did a great job with their characters. There was a few cheezy parts, but all in all it was a pretty good movie!
I remember I was disappointed when I first watched this in theaters because I expected to see a huge battle scene between the Resistance and Skynet. But then I bought it for $1 at Blockbuster when they were closing and watched it a couple times more, and found myself liking it eventually. Sam Worthington is a great new actor. Christian Bale makes an awesome John Connor. I wish they could have gotten Arnold in this film, but the CG-Arnold will do. This sequel may not be for everyone, but I'd recommend it anyways to any Terminator fans
It a good movie just like the other 3 of them.
I heard and read many reviews of this flick. Most were on the negative side. I found what I will refer to as T4 to be a enjoyable watch with great visual effects. I would rate all the terminator movies in this order - T1 - #2 T2 - #1 T3 - #4 T4 - #3 Watch this movie with no expectations just enjoy the ample action and don't get too caught up with timelines and story content and you'll have fun.
Yes, Terminators are cool. The coolness of the machines does not trump the "stink" factor for the rest of the film. Bale seems to only be cast in roles that focus on his ability to brood and grunt. This film solidified that opinion for me. I know the future is bleak but come on! I could hardly understand the dialog because Bale grunts out his lines. I did not relate to any of the characters. The movie seemed to have zero character development except for the cyborg guy but the story was so weak, I didn't even care about him. Personally, I rooted for Skynet to wipe the human characters movie off the face of the planet. Can a movie tied in with a 30(ish) year old multi-million dollar sci-fi franchise stink, even if it's based on scary shiny robots? Yes. Yes it can.
Do not purchase! It clearly states on description dvd
