Alma, Indian gooseberry, is one of the few substances that can help lower LP(a). Every day I put about a tsp. in morning fruit juice. Surely could go in any cold concoctions that you mix up. It is a fine powder- the fruit pulverized. I used to drink it in hot tea in the morning but I think the heat destroys the value of it.

It's well known that amla powder tastes terrible, but I use a small amount, put it in my oatmeal, and it does the job that I expect it to do. The package is so large and I use such a small quantity each day, I'm m giving away little bits to friends because I want everyone to try it for their health.

This is the 3rd brand of Amla I've used in almost 6yrs. The cheapest brand worked for me, but was the least good. Next I used a better brand that cost almost twice as much as this one. But I've found that this one has the best texture and effectiveness.
