Great Value Organic Ground Flax Seed, 32 oz

the product is great. The pickup experience not so much. Had to wait over 15 minutes to get item. Also i requested no bags yet i get items in bags (this happened the last 2 orders as well) oversll not happy with the pickuo process but happy with product and walmart!!

This product is even better than I had hoped. I had another organic ground flax that I loved, but was unavailable for weeks. This came packed nicely too, and arrived quickly as well. I add this to plain yogurt with honey every day, and my digestion is definitely improving! I will try adding this to other things as well as the consistency is perfect, and tastes delicious!

I used it for the fiber aspect of it and desolves well in water. Usually within a hour or so of drinking it, it goes to work. I buy this brand because I tried many different brands of Flax seeds and I find that the Great Value brand is just as good in quality, You get more in quanity than the name brand for less in price.

Actually, I add it to my daily oatmeal dinner meal, along with some of the great value powdered peanut butter. Bear in mind, though, that I engineer my meals to be healthy, within the constraints of being financially strained. To make sure I get enough calories and nutrients, I've gotten creative by adding things with my meals, to bolster them. My meals aren't engineered to be fantastic tasting, but rather, healthy and economical. None of them taste bad, but then, I allow myself a reasonable cheat meal, here and there, with something unhealthy from a restaurant.

This is my 2nd time using this flaxseed. I just bought it in a larger size this time. I am glad I switched to Walmart as the supplier. I have had no issues with it and it is a good value for the price they are selling it at. The texture on the grind is good as well. I use it daily.

They are delicious in a bowl of yogurt with a little honey and a banana or blueberries. They fill you up so you can make a yogurt bowl a whole meal. They're also very helpful to women in perimenopause. I can legitimately tell a difference since I started eating them.

Started using flax several years ago as a supplement in my batches of super oatmeal (steel oats, flax, chia, collagen, pea protein powder, dried fruit, cinnamon %26 stevia). Used seeds that I ground on demand. Bought Bob's Red Mill ground flax one day out of need and saw this recipe for flax crackers. Been making a version of these crackers to couple with my hummus that has become a lunch on many days as it's very filling and healthy. Use it so much that this makes more sense than grinding myself and I go through so much now as it's a key part of the diet. Quality is high and price is unbeatable. I can make two batches of crackers. About 140 2"x2" of some of the healthiest crackers out there. Omega-3 dose. Healthy fats. Incredible fiber.

The taste is not like a whole grain cracker or such, so please don't think this is something that tastes yummy. It's ground flaxseed! However...if you want to have some flaxseed for your gut health, by all means - this is the way to go. I mix a tablespoon into oatmeal or applesauce and it does wonders. This is my fiber-go-to. I'm sure you will agree. Buy it.

This Organic Ground Flax Seed provides an excellent, organic source of quick fiber, making it very convenient to mix into my daily protein shake. It's a great functional product for boosting nutritional intake. However, the product has one major drawback: the packaging. The resealable zipper is frustratingly hard to close securely, which allows air in and compromises the product's freshness. I highly recommend having an airtight container ready for storage.

Put it this way... this is a fantastic option if you want a very easy way to regularly consume flaxseed. Great value, and just scoop into anything/everything. However.. in terms of taste... I like Bob's Red Mill whole flaxseed a lot more. When I grind those ones myself, they taste a lot fresher and natural, as if they retain all the natural oils. With this cheap brand that's ground... a lot of the flavor tastes muted by comparison. But it's still edible and tolerable, so it's really about what you care more about, convenience or taste.
