Better Body Foods cacao powder has an excellent flavor profile. I make my own version of "Cafe Mocha" out of 16 ounces of coffee, 2 teaspoons of cacao powder and a teaspoon of honey, it's delicious! It's also good in pancakes, hoe cakes and cornbread. I recommend this product. It's good, it's not overly bitter like I've previously tasted from processed cocoa powder and it's comparably priced to other cacao/cocoa powders as well, thus making it a "no brainer" to me. I will always buy this because it is so very good! not only that it is so very good for you! I like to mix in some of that golden milk powder as well and put whipped cream on it after I heat the milk up! it's actually a health drink and has incredible research to back it up! I'm happy that I found it and I'm using it on a regular basis. it is delicious!

Once you get used to this it really grows on you. The first time I tried it with milk I thought it was underwhelming and a little too bitter. But after a few days I grew to love it. And it is only 20 calories per scoop. I drink it with milk myself but I am sure you can use it with a variety of things. For the amount you get the price is very reasonable and I always love a quality resealable bag.

Yes I love this Cocoa, but the price honestly doubled in 6 months, which is absolutely ridiculous! This is real cocoa and doesn’t have the extras in it. I put it in my waffle mix and make dark chocolate from it and it’s absolutely delicious! I dont know if the price doubled only here at Walmart, or if it’s across the board, but Im not going to pay $17 for a bag of cocoa…what are people thinking when they up the price like this? ~ If I didnt need the cocoa the next day for come chocolates I was making I wouldn’t have bought it at this price and would’ve found an alternative item. I just didnt have the time to shop for it.

It has a very well balanced chcolate taste, whether blended or baked.. I love this brand. It's organic and healthy. I only buy other brands if this isn't availavle, simply because of the unbeatable value. Of course there's higher quality, for higher price. But this get me 90% there for half the cost. And it will always beat Hersey's or other store brands because it's not dutch processed and stripped of all it's micronutrients like they ar. It's super healthy, and I love it!

I love this. I use this to make vegan chocolate shakes using unsweetened coconut milk or unsweetened soy milk. Sometimes I just put some almonds and water in a blender and this. I use stevia as a sweetener. I also use this organic chocolate to make my own simple chocolate-almond biscotti using seeds such as organic flax seed, and chia seeds with coconut flour and almond water paste with stevia and optional vanillas extract and bake. A package like this usually lasts me for several months, as I eat or drink chocolate foodies maybe once or twice a week.

i ve had severe knee pain for the last 20 yrs. cacao with these flavonols wake up stem cells and then they go to fix them. i been feeling better all the time.

I would have investigated this before I bought it, if I was aware of this before I bought it. But did not discover this until I examined the package. This type of thing is not always prominently displayed in online pictures. I threw this Cacao away and found an alternative brand. Which was good. Hopefully for those who care about the Cadmium content. This review will make you aware.

I was happy to buy this brand of cacao powder, because I have used a couple other products I really like by this brand. They use the bags and always have a good seal and the products always seem quality. There is a huge problem. It's been a week and I was again looking at the nutrients label and realized this is NOT real cacao powder. It tastes less bitter than Hershey's cacao/cocoa powder, which is NOT cacao powder either! If the word cocoa is in there, it IS cocoa powder. Why do they get to say cacao? Because all cocoa comes from cacao but is heavily processed. Now, back to my point about this "cacao" powder: Cacao has FAT! It comes from the coco butter found in the cacao bean. It should be 10%-24% fat and it says 0g fat! That means roughly 5-10g fat per 1-2 tablespoons of cacao powder. And the less fat, the more starch that it contains! I'm sorry I didn't fully read the label before I bought it! IF you want dark cocoa powder, Hershey's 100% cacao cocoa powder is almost half the price of this and richer. But again, it is NOT real cacao powder but cocoa powder as it too, has been processed. But it still has more fat content than this product, meaning it is even less processed than this. Also, if cooking desserts, this means you need to add a tiny bit of fat to get a better consistency. And I am surprised of the reviews that complain cacao is bitter and not sweet. If you have a "cacao" powder that tastes sweet, it's also not pure cacao. If you have a sweet tooth you need to add sweeteners to cacao. If you don't like sweet stuff, do not buy cocoa powder, but instead buy cacao. I won't lie, it still tastes good, in smoothies, paired with coconut or banana...it is very versatile. I have made a treat with 3 dates, drizzled with olive oil, then filled with homemade peanut butter, and pecans or walnuts. You can even add a drop of vanilla before adding the so-called "cacao" powder. I will continue using this bag until it's gone but I am definitely buying a different brand that actually gives you 100% pure cacao powder, which contains fat and MORE antioxidants and nutrients - COCOA PROCESSING destroys most all of the nutrients!!! I am buying cacao powder for helping specific health issues - NOT for hot cocoa or sweet treats. If you doubt me, look up cacao powder cannot be 100% fat free, or cacao powder always has some fat in it. Or, how much fat is in cacao powder. Tired of this!

I highly recommend this product, but I don't recommend buying it through WM! I purchased it to try it, turns out it's delicious and 2 days later went to order another one, and WM increased the price by $3.00.. It's cheaper on the huge marketplace that we all get packages from during the holiday season. Not ordering from WM until they bring the price down!
