Badia Organic Ground Flax Seed, 16 oz

I love using this in my oatmeal and smoothies. I prefer to store it in my refrigerator next to my chia seeds and have never had any issues with freshness or clumping. Once you finish a container, you have a durable, reusable shaker for something else.

Been using this flaxseed for years. Great quality and good value pricing is a must for me and Walmart makes that happen. I use it in my cereal. smoothies and banana bread and also my oatmeal. Great product and and great value pricing. Keep it up....and thank you.

This flaxseed tastes good and is a good value for the money. Great on yogurt. Adds nice texture to foods.

Fresh, nutty flavor and great texture — perfect for smoothies or baking. I mainly use it as an ingredient in my dog treats.

Use the Badia ground flaxseed on hot cereals, taste is good, texture fine ground, very good and the price is worth it.

3-star rating for "taste" is because I do not like the taste of ground flax seed. 1-star rating for "as a snack" because flaxseed as a snack is BEYOND my imagination. HOWEVER, I've been adding a serving of ground flaxseed to my morning oatmeal for about 2 months. Following a recent checkup, my A1c count was in the 6. range. My usual reading is in low to mid 7. range. I DON'T know whether adding ground flaxseed to my oatmeal made THAT improvement (I've made no other changes in my usual diet), so I figure it's worth continuing with the Badia Organic Ground Flax Seed. One thing, for some reason, the flaxseed does NOT shake out easily although the holes in the cap are LARGE. I take the cap off and spoon out as much as I want. This works better for me for portion control.

Opened it for the first time and it had an off odor and was clumpy. It went rancid quickly! Expiration date is 02/2029! For the record, the flaxseed was stored in a cool pantry alongside the previous container of flaxseed that I bought. Unfortunately, I’m now outside the return window and have to throw out the entire container! Disappointing.

I have purchased this product many times and I truly enjoy using it but today’s delivery was ridiculous. The item was left in my mailbox which was NO problem however once I opened the packaging the black top was all torn up and the seal was partially opened on one side, for safety reason I threw it away. I am very unhappy with this shipment and delivery.

Ugh....returning. This seed had gone rancid. Purchased, opened that evening....and oh my goodness it stunk. It was not an herb smell but a pungent rancid stunk smell. Not close to Best By date...and it was sealed. So not sure what happened. Other flax seed I've purchased has not had this odious smell.

I finished an entire container of this with no issues. I just opened the new one and on my second use found a rather large, foreign object in the container. I have no clue what it is. Gross.
