We used to eat at a Japanese restaurant called Shogun in Orange park. It went out of business which we hated. They had this shrimp sauce that was really yummy. We've been buying the regular Yum Yum sauce which tastes a lot like this restaurant sauce. It is really good. Anyway we started watching our calories and this lower fat version is just as good to us. Yum Yum sauce is yummy!!
This is my favorite yum yum sauce. I don't like spicy food, but enjoy this sauce because it's not very spicy. I consider the heat level to be mild. It has the perfect plend of spices. It's delicious on jasmine rice with mixed chicken, ginger, and soy sauce. The sauce is less calories, which allows me to have it when I want a meal with an Asian flare. It's great on hamburgers and chicken as well. Just be creative. It's very versatile.
My son loves to use yum yum sauce. He defines it as very tasty. He uses it when we have roast chicken, with some vegetables and sometimes with Chinese food depending on what it is. We discovered the existence of yum yum sauce on a visit to a hibachi restaurant. This a staple I keep in my home all the time.
I was honestly surprised by how good Terry Ho's Yum Yum Sauce (reduced calorie) tastes! It has that classic creamy, slightly sweet flavor you expect, but without feeling heavy or overly processed. I love being able to drizzle it on rice bowls, grilled chicken, shrimp, and even veggies without blowing my calorie goals. The texture is smooth, the flavor is spot on, and it doesn't taste “diet” at all. If you're trying to be a little more mindful but still want great flavor, this sauce is absolutely worth buying again!
If you love Yum Yum sauce at your favorite restaurant but crave it at home, Terry Ho's is your answer! The reduced calorie version is my personal choice to save some calories and it tastes great! Goes well with vegetables, grilled chicken, shrimp and so much more!
Love this!!!! I do veggie stir fry once a week and this is a staple . My hubby puts a ton of it on his food. If you can find Makoto ginger dressing too, you can have food like Hibachi restaurant with yum yum and ginger sauce
Better macros for the lite version. For some reason it is thicker than the regular sauce. Makes it difficult to pour and gloppy. Flavor is spot on though.
The flavor is outstanding! it would be nice to be able to squeeze, rather than pour it out. cost seems high, but isn't everything thses days? That said, I'll definitely purchase again.
Solid retail yum yum sauce! When I tried it on its own, it was not as good as my local hibachi restaurant's yum yum, but once on the food, I couldn't tell the difference. It's also a bit healthier which is a huge plus.
I love the regular Yum Yum sauce, its great on pretty much everything. The reduced calorie version is also great on everything, while having 60 fewer calories (40% less) and 10 less grams of fat per serving (7 vs 17).
