Really great food. So glad to find them in a bottle container. All the bags closures break. These don't so food stays fresh and everybody loves them. Tetra is a brand I’ve grown up with and trust. My very first aquarium was a 10 gallon aquarium and came with all things Tetra brand. So when I recently added Plecos and Corydoras to my aquarium â€" I had to feed them Tetra’s PlecoWafers. I like these wafers for bottom feeding / algae eating fish because it’s a complete diet formula and made with Zucchini which is excellent food for bottom feeding fish. They sink to the bottom fast so that my fish can get to it quickly and they seem to love it since it’s gone in a matter of minutes.

These are a great choice for my Pleco. They provide him with the right nutrition he needs. When I first tried them out I put a whole wafer into my tank and it sank straight to the bottom however once my Pleco got a taste of it he loved it! The only issue I found was that the water does cloud up easily and will dirty the tank quickly. I have a small baby pleco and a 1.5 gallon tank so it's best to break into pieces for the him while he's still small so he can actually finish all of the food also it will prevent the water from turning cloudy. I've been doing this everyday and my little Pleco loves it!

Ive tried a few different foods for my bottom feeders but the Tetra PlecoWafers are hands-down their favorite. The moment I drop a wafer in the tank my fish rush overâ€"its honestly fun to watch! Even my loaches and snails nibble on them.What I love most is that it keeps them healthy and active. The ingredients like algae and zucchini make me feel good about what Im feeding them. Ive noticed they look more vibrant and seem more energetic since I started using this food regularly.It also helps keep my tank cleanerâ€"theres way less leftover food floating around compared to some other brands Ive tried. I usually feed just enough for them to finish in a few hours and remove anything extra just like the label says.

Tetra PlecoWafers sinking fish food for algae-eating fish is a great product. No one wants their fish tank to be filled with algae but our bottom feeders need to eat. These tablets provide the food and nutrients needed for our pet fish. I would highly recommended these sinking foods.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t tried this type of food before - since I have other fish non algae-eating fish in the tank this isn’t the only food source for my catfish and I only give them a disk every few days. The food comes in a disk shape that sinks quickly the first time I gave them one it took more than a day for the fish to discover and finish it. Since then it’s gone within a couple of hours. The fish seem to enjoy it and the other fish in the tank don’t bother with it. These have been a great addition to supplement the diets of my 3 catfish.

As a person with way too many fish tanks each of with its fair share of plecos shrimp snails and assorted other bottom feeders Tetra PlecoWafers Sinking Fish Food is an absolute favorite. Easy to manage break into smaller pieces and make my aquatic friends happy this is a product I will always have on hand.The Tetra PlecoWafers arrived safely sealed and fresh. The container is larger than I expected as are the wafers so it makes retrieving and handling simple and easy. Depending on the size and inhabitants of the tank I feed I either add one or two full tabs or break the tabs into smaller pieces to accommodate a smaller population of feeders. All of this couldn’t be more convenient.Now to the most important thing…how do they taste to my aquatic friends? Delicious. There are fishes that I didn’t know still lived that have been drawn out of long hiding to feast on these Tetra PlecoWafers. Seriously. I have a deeply planted tanks so I rarely see my Plecos and Loaches enough so that I thought they had died but not so…when I drop the Tetra PlecoWafers in the water it only takes seconds before my shy friends find them. I am absolutely delighted at how well the wafers work at showing me my pets. I can’t say this enough I will always have these on hand. I feed my bottom feeders a range of foods from boiled fresh spinach to typical store bought foods but nothing gets them out of hiding like these. They are super.Lastly I’ve been using these a while now and they don’t seem to have lost any freshness or ability to please my Plecos etc. With a large canister this will last me for a very long time meaning this product is well worth your money. I am a very happy customer!

My pleco absolutely loves this wafer. Im not sure what sets this one apart from others but he is all over these when I drop them in the tank. The little guys gotta get to it quick before he does or he will eat it all so fast. He is an old grouchy pleco and it seems to make him happy. Glad to find him a special treat.

The Tetra Pleco Wafers are a nutritious food for my algae eater fish. These Wafers are large flat and provide a good surface area for fish to suck on. They quickly sink to the bottom of the tank which is convenient during feeding time. The can is large with a twist cap to store and keep things fresh and will last a while. I found the fish seemed to like the taste as they were drawn to the food. The addition of zucchini and fiber are great for digestion and overall health of my fish.
