Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Programmable Graphing Calculator, 10-Digit LCD

Trying to finish my degree since my employer was not willing to work with me in 2006. I had my old calculator; however, I could not get it to work. Admit had been dropped. Note to this calculator: If will not turn on, take the batteries out and hold the On button thirty seconds then replace batteries and calculator should turn on. Overall a dependable calculator for my needs.

As a beginner to the graphing calculator I am amazed by the ease of function of the TI-83. If you are not advanced with the functions of a graphing calculator I recommend that you start with the TI-83 as I have found that others are confused with the functions of the TI-84.

Got a great deal in April (far away from back to school demand) for about $75. The TI 83 calculator works great as expected. Shipping was smooth and arrived on time.

I spent sometime researching what to buy and this seemed the right start for our son for math. We bought a second one so we could sit beside him and do the problems as well since we homeschool.

Texas Instruments make the best handheld calculators. I am very pleased with the functionality of the TI-83 plus unit and reliability is fantastic.

I ordered this calculator for my granddaughter. It is required for school. It was easy to order. The online Walmart process is very efficient. It was delivered quickly. I am quite pleased.

It's a basic graphing calculator that gets the job done. I also appreciate that it uses 4 AAA batteries. I've tried the graphing calculators that charge via USB, and the battery always seemed to drop during quizzes or tests. With 4 AAA batteries, it's nice to not have to worry so far (I've only had it a few weeks)

Bought the calculator a a donation for a student in need. While the calculator was unused and in the original packaging, the package was torn and damaged. This should have been mentioned in the description of the product. The damage was not due to shipping as the mailer was in perfect condition when it arrived to my home.
