A very good calculator
I am using it for a college statistics course. It is good TI-84 calculator. It has all the functions required for statistics. It was a good price and quick delivery. Cons: it's big.

It arrived extremely fast, within a few hours of ordering. My son used a chromebook with Desmos and his new school requires the calculator. He said it is an easy transition for him.

Reliable and Easy to Use

TI-84 great for light user
The TI line of graphing calculators are the standards by which all others are judged. The 84 is a great tool for a high school or college student not requiring all the additional features of TI's higher-end products. I've always felt that one gets a good value from TI, but if this calculator was $80.00 as opposed to close to $100, I don't think Walmart could keep them on the shelff. All in all, a great product.

lowk awseome calc (calc is short for calculator chat). i needed it for college algebra and its a fricken awesome calculator that does all kinds of stuff and its pretty easy to use and functional. you can also install games and other programs with the mini usb cable it came with.

Excellent calculator-- definitely worth the money
I am a sophomore in high school and I will be taking AP Calculus soon. This class also has a bit of Trigonometry. I have tried various mathematical problems, ranging from the most complex, to the simplest of them all. After doing so, I learned that this calculator is very efficient and fast in solving practically any math problem the average high schooler will see. In addition to its efficiency, it allows for multiple applications which you can easily download from a computer. I have to admit, though, that the buttons and controls may be a bit confusing to someone new to the TI calculator series. However, with a bit of practice and reading, this calculator will be simple. The TI-84 plus is truly a good option for a student in need of a graphing calculator, but isn't wealthy enough to afford those flashy, color calculators.

Perfect purchase
My son came home from his first week in school and said he needed a scientific calculator so I did some research and decided on this model. I then researched prices and was happy to find the best deal available on Walmart.com with free shipping to my local store. The calculator works perfectly for my son in his AP Calculus class!

TI - 84 plus graphing calculator
Actually purchased this for my high school freshman, was recommended to use for algebra. It's the second TI-84 that we've purchased in the last couple years as my high school junior is also using the same for pre calculus. We researched and looked it to upgrading the original calculator and getting a more detailed calculator but the TI-84 plus really has it all including being able to use on the ACT and SAT. For the most part both my kids were able to figure out using it fairly easy although school is helpful. They should be sable to use these into college and with more advanced math classes. Comes with cable for downloading data too. Look around for best price, we purchased from Walmart for under $100 :)

Box was completely taped and damaged. Clearly opened and returned. Calculator looks to be in bad shape. This was delivered by Walmart I did not purchase this knowing it looked like this!!!

I never received the item. The delivery person took a picture of the item in their hand, not at my house and then stated it was delivered. It was never delivered to my house and I believe the delivery driver stole the item because they knew it was a $********* calculator. We called customer support and they said all they could do was give us a refund and refused to track down the delivery driver who never delivered the item. I no longer feel safe ordering items from Walmart that could potentially be stolen because of their value.
