I received a stim experiment kit relating to lollipops. I did this experiment with my children making lollipops. They had so much fun. My four and ten year old loves this and asked me to me a few more sets. Tastes great and great learning experience. It comes with all the ingredients you need.

This little project kit is so fun. My family loved it. It made way more than we expected. It had enough to make 2 different batches on different days and we appreciated that. It was basic instructions and easy to follow. The only thing my kids didnt do themselves is pour the hot candy into the molds. The candy came out of the molds with no problems. My kids were suprised with the process that it takes to make a sucker. Great learning hands on project altogether.

The lollipop lab kit is so much fun for the kids. They loved being able to make their own lollipops. I love that this kit comes with everything i need to make the lollipops including the mold, measuring cup, glass high end candy thermometer, lollipop sticks, ring base, and 2 mixes - 1 in raspberry and 1 in cherry flavors. There are complete instructions too. My kids love crafts especially ones like these where they can eat what they make. This is really a great kit that is well worth the price. I like that this also is a fun what to learn about measurements and weight. Highly recommend.

We have done A LOT of STEM activities but this was by far the funnest and incorporated a lot of educational components. Math, reading, following instructions, chemistry and cooking! We had so much fun making these lollipops and learned a ton. Make sure to closely follow ALL the instructions because you can easily miss a step and they just won't come out right. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My daughter loved making these. I don't like that they don't harden all the way, though. They kind of melt.

This two flavors; CHERRY and BLUE RASPBERRY, LOLLIPOP LAB, is a stem experiment kit has been designed for children ages eight and up to help them to learn about the physical science principles of cooking, in a fun way. Kit DOES include: ONE Colorful and descriptive 8-page manual with images and step-by-step directions. Also included in this kit we found; one lollipop molding tray, a candy thermometer, 20-piece lollipop sticks, Ring lollipop base, one beaker, 1 pack of blue raspberry lollipop mix and  1 packet of red cherry lollipop mix. List of what we had to add in order to complete any of the 3 experiments: Approximately 1½ Cups of granulated sugar, a heat proof cutting board, stove, or hot plate, small sauce pan, an oven mitr, water, two metal spoons, a butter knife, bowl of cold water, (clean) dish towel or paper towel, metal tray or plate lined with parchment paper, a time keeping device such as a clock or watch, and a cup of boiling water (for cleaning purposes). As a parent and grandparent, I'm all for offering my children and grandchildren educational toys that are fun for them while also l teaching them necessary skills for life. This kit has been designed to  help them learn science and math lessons related to cooking. For those reasons, I do recommend.

This Thames & Kosmos Lollipop Lab Stem Experience Kit is more like a cooking experiment with little science. The box states age 8+ but you have to be constant in your adult supervision because this stuff is worse than hot glue when it's melted, it sticks, it's hard to get off your skin and blisters all at the same time, please use Extreme Caution with 8-10 yo. This kit comes with 2 different colors which are blue for blue raspberry and red for cherry. You will need white granulated sugar and of course water, and a few other kitchen staples. I used my smallest 1.5 qt sauce pan and the lollipop liquid was only an inch in the pan so the candy thermometer barely touched the liquid, so if you a smaller one the liquid will be deeper in the pan and your thermometer will set better. There are a lot of steps in the directions but you must follow each one to a T. As the adult you have to do a lot to keep your little one safe in this process but it's still fun to have them with you during it. We ended up making the blueberry first and then the red cherry. The blueberry wasn't good to any of us, the flavor is too bland and you taste more of the sugar. But both of the flavors taste verrrryyyyy sweet. To store these pops you keep them in the fridge but after 3 1/2 hours the red cherry ones ended up spreading out but the blues ones held there shape. Overall this is a good experiment that's worth it but the flavors for us are lackluster so it's more like a one and done.
