Thayers Blemish Clearing Salicylic Acid and Witch Hazel Face Wash, 4 fl oz

I'm new to Thayer's. This is the first product I've used, it's great and I'm planning on trying others. My skin feels so good after using it and it seems effective after a few days.

This cleanser is very thin but powerful; you get a lot out of a small amount. Due to this, you need to be cautious when squeezing the package, as a lot runs out of it quite quickly. However, this cleanser is very lightweight and easy to rinse off. It does not foam or create a big mess that takes a while to wash off. It also does not leave an oily feeling afterwards. I am a woman in my 30s with dry skin but acne prone. The witch hazel is fantastic for soothing any itchiness I get from my dry skin and the cleanser is great for avoiding acne breakouts. I find the lemon scent to be very light and the smell does not cling to your face whatsoever. It is pleasant while you are using the cleanser. All in all I really like this cleanser so far.

I have been using this along with the blemish clearing balm for about 2 weeks. I love it! It leaves my skin feeling clean but not dried out. I have combination skin and had previously just been using a warm washcloth morning and night to clean my face. I knew it was time to try something else because I kept breaking out. But I was scared whatever I tried would dry my skin out. Love this product!

I love this stuff. It leaves my face feeling clean and the product doesn't dry my skin out. I am pretty lax with this, usually using it once in the morning. If I see a pimple coming on, I'll wash twice (morning & before bed) and it usually disappears the next day or two. It never develops past a reddish splotch, just hinting at a pimple. It's amazing! I also deal with sebaceous filaments, they drive me nuts. Using this has helped tremendously. (the only two products I use on my face are this cleanser and the snail mucin stuff. I think they are a terrific combo! My face is somehow very oily, yet flaky and dry naturally. But with these two products I have glowing skin now!) I have never been this happy with a face cleanser. I've been using this for about a year and I still love it.

I have sensitive, combination, breakout prone skin. I bought this to try alongside my other Thayers products (pH balanacing cleanser, milky toner, and radiance boosting balm). It has a creamy, non foaming, consistency that spreads evenly to coat my entire face and neck without any issue. It also is easy to rinse away and leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized without any residue or drying effect. Because my skin is so sensitive- I often struggle to find an acne/blemish clearing cleanser that doesn't cause irritation. This stuff is easy on my skin and started clearing up my face after just one wash (with my face being almost completely clear within a week). The only thing I don't like about this cleanser is the lemon scent which to me smells similar to a household cleaner. It is not overbearing, I just have a sensitive nose. Definitely would recommend.

The smell isn't my favorite. I thought I would get used to it like I do with other scented cleansers, but that isn't the case. However, I am overlooking that because I genuinely like this cleanser! My skin is noticeably less oily throughout the day, my acne has decreased, and my skin just feels good. It is easy to lather and rinse off and it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I do think it could be a bit too drying using multiple times a day, but a good moisturizer could help that. I am impressed and this may become my new go to cleanser! The product was cool and tingly with a pretty strong tea tree scent. It didn't seem to improve nor worsen my skin regarding blemishes, but it didn't dry my skin out which is a problem I've had with other cleansers. It took off eye makeup fine and the scent doesn't noticeably linger after it's rinsed. I was given this product in exchange for a fair review.

Extremely runny and smells terrible. It's almost like it's been watered down.
