Who knew? This product melts quickly when irrigated, and it melts right into the soil. I have sown this (by hand wearing rubber gloves) onto repair patches in my Bermuda lawn where shade zones from tree cover affected the grass growth. Those patches have a richer soil texture, which is darker and looser than the clay heavy soil. Very encouraging.

Packaging needs to be improved as the boxes are falling apart.
