Amanda December 19, 2025

this is extremely strong. I love this thread. it is exactly as described and perfect for jewelry making! I am so happy I bought this thread. I bought it to make a bracelet for my granddaughter who is 14months old. she hasn't broken it yet 😊

I am just starting to make necklaces and I wanted something stronger than I was using. So far this working well and I am enjoying using it. I do recommend it and the price was quite reasonable.

Beading

Amber May 10, 2026

This is the only thread I use for my beading projects, it's durable even in 4lb test, it doesn't fray, and it's stiff enough to thread through a needle but still gives a nice fringe too.

Best beading thread

Karen July 27, 2025

The quality of Fireline beading thread is exceptional in books. I never have fraying issues like other threads, I just wish there were more color options. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Shayna August 27, 2025

This thread is very durable and strong. I even had a hard time cutting it which showed me it was of great quality. I would say it is great for professional use. It is easy to work with which I like and doesnt snag or fray.

Works great for almost everything.

cork2000 April 10, 2025

It is strong and easy to use. It doesn't tangle like other beading thread and it is clear. I can use it to make multiple passes through size 15 seed beads. Works great for bracelets and necklaces. Not so much for dangle earrings, but you can use it on the woven part.

Strong but I can't tighten it

Pamela August 5, 2025

I bought this thread to make bracelets with 11/0 seed beads. The thread is strong, but I can't seem to pull it tight enough when I try to make flowers

Carol May 18, 2026

After reading raving reviews online, I was sadly quite disappointed. Especially for the price. This 'line' is more flimsy than sewing thread, and twice as frustrating to work with. I tried three different types of beading with this, and finally gave up and grabbed the stringing wire. Obviously, there seems to be lots of people who love this brand / size of line.... just not for me. It'll be going in the tackle box.

Black/Graphite smears on hand

IrishFog February 27, 2026

I am just starting to learn beading on a loom. Sadly, my loom did not come with the instructions on how to string the loom. I made my first attempt trying to watch a step-by-step video on YouTube using this product ( a very frustrating way to learn IMHO). AFTER attempting to string the loom for several minutes (of utter frustration), I decided to take a break, only to find that my hands were literally smeared with a blackish/greasy substance. I was not aware that the string had this black coating (on the plus side). I did learn that this color of string (black) was one that should not be used when working with lighter colored beads. I sm going to order the white string of this manufacturer before I bead any thing.
